Saunders Study Exams
I have the 3rd edition in the comprehensive and the third edition in the Q & A....should I not use those I plan on taking mine again in September....I'm wondering if I should go out and buy the 4th edition...I just dont know if there would be a big difference in the material. Any opinions appreciated.

Scoring on Saunders??
Does anyone know what I should be scoring on Saunders Exams?? Not the 10 questions quizzes but the 100 questions exams...I cannot get over 60%...I'm thinking at the very least I should probably be at a 70...however I seem to score better on Kaplan??? Confused.. I like Saunders but I'm curious as to what score I should be shooting for...anyone that has used Saunders can you help me out? I have failed 4x now on my NCLEX and I'm trying to do at least 7500 questions before I will allow myself to retake it again. I'm reading the rationales whether right or wrong....I just need help on the scoring goal!!!! Thanks, als35

Need help passing nclex failed x 3
I honestly with I could do 1000 questions per day, but I know I can't that would drive me crazy. I can barely stand to do 300 per day and I'm lucky if I do that in a row of days. I will be taking the NCLEX for my 5th time and I don't even want to do questions or look over anything because I'M SO TIRED OF LOOKING OVER STUFF. I do need to set up a study plan and stick to it, I get bored with taking practice tests, I don't know sometimes I wonder if I should switch career plans I'm so tired of caring this burden of failing and the test to redo. I just want to move on, I mean its going on a year since I graduated nursing school. I know how you feel and I feel your pain Im not going to recommend anything to you..I just wanted to let you know that your not alone...because evidently what I am doing isn't working either..lol. Good Luck!

I Passed on my 4th Try
I cannot wait to "feel" that feeling and see my name with RN attached. I will feel like a load or should I say a ton of bricks is off my shoulders. I will be taking it for the 4th time as well. I hope I have that "different" feeling. I went through the thought process the other day while driving that you know "what r you doing you went to school and bullshitting around" hellooooo. Did you do anything differently than you did before to prepare. I don't feel like I can prepare anymore however I guess I could do more questions because I do lack in that area. I envy you I cannot wait for the day to see that with my name. I actually getting used to seeing "fail". It's funny though the 3 times I have taken I kinda knew that it was going to be failed, I just didn't have that well maybe feeling ya know! Congratulations now you can move on, that is great!

Received Failed results from NCLEX-RN today...need advice.
I totally understand your pain. I graduated last June and still have not passed, I have taken it 3x now. Talk about feeling stupid..I already have a job and have to keep calling my manager and telling her I still didn't pass. God love her she states "I know you have what it takes to be a nurse and it's just a test". However, it is still embarassing to other nurses on the floor. Advise that I would give to a new grad is not to get a job until after you pass the NCLEX. I have every book that you could possibly imagine I probably have 10,000 questions in them all together, I have the Kaplan book, and I did the 5 week course in ncbsn. The first time I failed I had 265 questions all the areas except 3 were above the passing standard, the second time I had 127 questions and I was below and near on that feedback, this last time I had 227 questions and my feedback levels all were ''near the passing standard". I don't know what to do either, I am so hopeless and aggravated. I truly don't know if I will ever pass this. The thing is that I don't feel nervous or anxiety during the test. However, I read the question twice and the answers about 4x. I read stories where people have graduated two years prior and still haven't passed that is awful. I'm just so confused as to what, when, and how to study at this point.

failed nclex twice..losing all my confidence
I feel your pain, I too don't know what else to do. I have taken it now 3x and I know "my stuff" it's just that I don't feel like I have an opportunity to prove it on the nclex. I think it's just knowing how to answer the questions. I don't know what else to do......I am trying to find a review course, one that you can actually go to...however they are slim to none. My life is on hold and I'm so tired of this hanging over my head when almost my whole graduation class has been working as an RN for over 8 months now. I'm lost and don't know what to do about it, I am certainly not going to give up that would be a waste of 4 years of school. I just don't know if I will ever pass it though, even knowing the drug classes I still having trouble knowing the s/e to them. I'm thinking about doing the Kaplan but I'm afraid to pay the money for that and it just be nothing but questions, I mean that's what I have been doing. If anyone out there knows or can direct me on how to set up a schedule for the next 45 days please let me know, I am all over the place with my studying. I mean what days? how long? what topics to study on which days......I am so depressed beyond belief and I am desperate!
