Highly disturbed today at Clinical...
You definately are not wrong! So many times we hear staff members say "we're so busy", well there is no excuse for not showing dignity and respect to our patients. How would those nurses feel if it were their mother, father or any of their family members in that position--it totally would not be tolerated! When we see this behavior it is our duty to not allow this to go on! Dont ever lose your caring attitude!

New job, feel emotional
I have found out that after being at the same job for 4+ years, or ever 1 year, you become very "familiar" which I believe is what some of us need. When switching jobs, you need to examine all factors involved, ie location, pay, hours, appreciation, and the list goes on. You'll find, when and if you leave, you'll stay in touch but will soon adjust to your new job. I always believed that job changes will increase your professional growth and experience. Never stay in a rut!!!!!!! :chuckle

Hello, new to site & posting....need help and advice on distance learning
I am currently enrolled at Excelsiors for my RN. Excelsior states on their catalog that they have nothing to do with those publishing companies and potential customers should educate themselves on what they offer. As far as I know, Excelsior also has study guides available. I am using one of those publishing companies and have not had any problems as of yet. Which ever way you decide, you will find out it isn't cheap. Be smart and read the small print. Good luck
