I am so relieved and so grateful, I finally am finished with the LPN program and Everest Institute. We have our pinning on December 21st and I just know I will need a box of kleenex. Thank you God, I couldn't have done it without him. To all you ladies and gentlemen who are still student of an LPN program, keep your head held up high, you can do anything you put your mind to. I did it raising three children by myself and working full time. My oldest son was the best in helping me with baby sitting, wouldn't made it this far without his help. Good luck and God bless. I work fulltime midnights and go to school fulltime. It is not easy especially since I am a single parent also. I enjoy nursing school so through the grace of God I am able to make it. It is not something that I would recommend, but life does go on and we have to survive. I study as much as I can at work, i can study on my down time, and on my days off I study alot. I'm in my last two weeks of my first med surg and i must say its challenging. Our instructor wanted us to start thinking more as to want a nurse wold do in certain situations rather than just learning about anatomy of the body. I think its challenging but if nursing is what you really want, then this is going to be interesting and the bulk of what nurses really do in the real world. I had to dig deep for med surg . I would say for our school we focused on nurse management and physiology. Good luck on your journey, this is one the best times of our lives yet. God bless.

Hi, I am a mother of 4, I attend Everesrt Institute in Michigan. I will be graduating in December of 2009. I am so proud of myself and all of the future LPN's

:up:I just received my acceptance letter in the mail. I'm so excited. I'm 40 years old, single parent with 4 children, one I just took to college 2 days ago. I have been trying to get into a nursing program for 5 years now. Now that I have been accepted it does'nt seem real. I guess it will set in on the first day of school. Thank God I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.
