  1. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I've never done anything related to medicine/caregiving so this is a brand new direction for me. The class ends Oct. 15th and then I guess we wait a couple of weeks to take the test. Anyone else just starting out? How is it?? I haven't seen too many listings for CNA's in So. California...I'm hoping more will be available when I finish!
  2. I talked to West Coast Univ. in Anaheim today and was somewhat excited at first. They have a BSN program that has no prerequisites. I have a B.A. already so I thought this might be the route I'd like to take. Well, turns out that if you have had your degree longer than 5 years (I've had mine for 6), you have to take ALL your general ed over again. That's ridiculous and I told her so. She said it's the school's policy. I guess it's the school policy to charge $110,000 for redundant coursework. I promptly crossed them off my list. And the search continues...
