  1. I need help. does anyone know of a nursing home that have a sub acute unit that is hiring? I m a new nurse and looking to work to gain experiences. It is so hard to get hire at a hospital now without any experience. I live in san jose and i don't mind the commute. Please let me know if anyone out there know of a place. I'm an RN. thank you all
  2. Reading most of the reply from the forum, I agree with a lot of your point of view, but I'm one of those people that have a test anxiety problem and I did not pass the test until my TEN time. I believe my clinical skill is excellent and I'm really good with people. I always score high on my exam through out my nursing program, but with the nclex, it just make me super nervous because it make me feel that this is the one test that will determine my career so therefore my anxiety level increase by 110 time more than I usually have. what I'm trying to say is, i don't think it matter how many time you try, and with those people that don't give up on taking the test after many fail, stay proud of yourself because it's doesn't matter how many time you take it as long as you try hard to make it there and when you do, you will appreciate it so much more. Like I said 10 time for me :)
  3. hello All Thank you for all the advices. MANDIE you mention of refresher course/re activate courses? Do you know of any school in the bay area by any chance? I live in san jose :) thank you again
  4. Hello everyone. I need help and advices of what i need to do. Here is my situation I graduated back in 2003 but did not passed my test until recently. In August/2008. I only have a little experiences which came from working with my IP license. also from clinical rotation. I'm having difficulty looking for a job because I either not qualify for a new grad program is because I'm not a new grad or is because I don't have enough experiences. Can anyone out there help me and have any suggestion for me? or anyone working right now and know that there hospital is hiring and willing to train.. Any Unit. I'm willing to relocate. I'm currently living in San Jose California, but like I said I'm willing to relocate. Any information will be a great help. Please. Thank you
