  1. I am only 22, and I have actually watched ER from the very beginning!! It is what actually got me interested in becoming a nurse. I did med-surg nursing for 2 years, and now I'm an ER nurse. I still love the show, I know that not all of it is real, but that is why it's a tv show!! But I believe it's by far the only show that actually talks about the nurses and shows them working their asses off. I love grey's anatomy and House but they don't show or even really talk about the nurses. It just ****** me off. Doctors would not survive without nurses. We all know it!!! But I stil love ER. It's sad that it's actually going to be ending!!!! I can't even believe it, I've spent over half of my life time watching this show and now it's all coming to an end. But I've already started my ER collection of dvd's, I have all of the available ones! So I can always enjoy my ER marathons! :-) Glad I'm not the only one who loves ER!
  2. Hi everyone!! I'm moving to wichita, and I now have two job offers, both night shift in the emergency room, one at via christi st. francis, and one at wesley medical center. I've toured both facilities, and I just can't make my mind up!! I need to let them know my answers very soon, perferably monday. So I need some help!! (fast!!) Anybody have any advice, or know anything about these two facilities? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!! :-) Thanks in advance!!
  3. Hey, Just take a deep breath and breathe! I was in your position on Monday. Thought I was sooo prepared, I walked in to boards monday morning, and I too, was stuck with 265 questions. It was miserable, I walked out of there, and felt like I was an IDIOT! I felt like all my schooling just went down the drain. I was just POSITIVE there was NOO way I could have passed. But......I'm proud to say that I am now an official:heartbeat Registered Nurse:D!!!!!!! It is possible.......!! So take a deep breath! I wish you the best of luck!!:redpinkhe
  4. Wow.....I'm still 'NUMB'. I can't believe how hard the NCLEX-RN seemed! My LPN was a breeze!! It only took me an hour, and I only took like 90 questions, and when i walked out of there I felt extremely confident. From the start of my RN boards, I felt like I was a failure. I had a LOT of prioritization questions. I was somewhat in the top of my class. We were required to complete ERI's above national average, and I always did awesome on those. But this test SUCKED! I had to take all 265 and I'm pretty sure I failed it. All I can do it sit here and dwell on it until I get the results. I feel like a complete idiot. I've been reading some of the other threads about this, but I would really love some advice from some of you others who had to take 265 questions. Anything words of encouragement would be wonderful!!:heartbeat
