  1. Well Pinkbutterfly... dont be nervous about UMDNJ ABSN , U will only have to put in a lot of hardwork and time. and know this...you have to forget hanging out and partying...some people are still keeping their jobs and some are married with many kids and are making it...it depends on your organizational skills. And talking about organization...while you wait, it may benefit you to sharpen and get a good grip on your A&P I-II -you will need it because its the foundation of all you have to do. You also need to find out now what type of learner you are now...so that you can move it from the go! I have no regrets because its not that bad plus the 'no work' and 'little play' situation is temporary. The professors are very nice, friendly, and willing to help- they will not leave you alone to wallow in failure unlike other programs. They are willing to help you in anyway 'within' their capacity - give you websites, suggest practice books, and even refer you to seniors who know the stuff and can help you. You will do well..just be ready...but i will not tell you its easy...you can do it..you only need to be prepared mentally and very organized. Also...please remain positive- that is very important!

  3. Hi! I was also accepted..But I have a problem with commuting to the campus...I need smplace quick because I live really very far from Stratford. So if any of you have any information about anyone who wants to share an apartment..please holla! Hope to see U guys on the 6th!!
  4. Thanks Lori for all the information...I am sorry I cannot make the orientation. I hope I will not have to pay dearly for it. I will call the office to know what I can do about it. I have the syallabus for the courses I have to challenge...I was just asking your opinion about the manner the tests were taken. Thank U very much...i appreciate your replies and concern. Take care
  5. Hi all,,Thanks Lori for all the info... I am glad I have people who can guide me now...I have a question though, What will happen at the orientation on the 15th? This is because I will not be available to attend the orientation and because Sunny says registration will be going on that day too...is it true? Can U guys let me know whatever happens there? and give me any information? I would really appreciate it..and can we form a little group to help each other study and get ready for the challenge tests?
  6. Thank Meggers628, That's nice...what were the other two courses? I do not have to test out lifespan and nutrition. How was the program? Is it possible to work part time while at it? What is the ratio of people who started to those who ended? Is the program organized? Were your clinicals in Newark? And how are the professors? This is because I have a choice between Rutgers ABSN and UMDNJ ABSN and I am trying to pick out the less stressful program of the two. Since you have been there...please advice me. I will appreciate it. All other information and advice necessary from anyone reading this post. Thanks
  7. Thanks. I hope I get an A in both then. I am just about to register to challenge them.
  8. Hey Elizabeth, I perceive that you have gone through the RUTGERS ABSN program successfully. I have a couple of questions here.... Do you think it is wise to reside in the halls of residence? i have been accpeted at the Newark campus and I live in the south of NJ. I thought it would be easier to reside in the hall...but with what I just read from your post- as per moving between New Brunswik and Newark, I am thinking........:-(. Please advice me because i really need it. I do not have car either so... I at a cross roads:cry:
  9. Hi Elizabeth. I have an exact case here...excpet I am 2009! I have those same courses to challenge and I have no idea what they are about. I am glad I have found someone to ride with! Wow! Please let me in on any information that can help. I hope to catch U there! Thanks
