  1. yay its over! i passed with 75 questions! i could have sworn i failed it. the waiting period does go by slow and i was ridden with anxiety. i actually made my fiance check for me because i was too much of a baby. the questions that were asked were soooo random. finally its all worth it! i am so happy i chose this profession.:heartbeat
  2. hi everyone! i am new on this site (although i have browsed the site many times before!) i recently passed my boards (thank god!!!) on aug 7th and i am very excited to finally be an rn. i have been working for about a month now and really love the floor that i am on. i was hired for nights (three 12's) but have been orienting on days. well now i sorta got to know the day shift nurses and i am really liking days. i applied for a day shift position already and unfortunately i did not get the position . my nurse manager encouraged me to keep an eye open for more opportunities for days and told me that i was real close to getting the position. i will start nights next week. kinda feelin anxious about it. any advice?
