    I wear scrubs. I like looking like the nurse, instead of a teacher. I have found the white lab coat to be more intimidating to the younger kids. Since I worked Pediatrics for years before becoming a school nurse I have a wide variety of kid friendly jackets. When I have meetings at school, I wear my solid scrubs for a more professional appearance
