  1. EVERYTHING! I don't consider nursing a job. I am so glad that I found my "place" in life.....finally! I spent too many years doing the "wrong" jobs. I had always thought about going into this field, now I'm where I always needed to be. I feel blessed.
  2. I just received an email from allnurses.com that I had received a message from "slapntickle". Apparently this person feels that any positives about the college are "fake". I wonder why we both passed our State Boards? I passed the first time that I took it...hmmmmmmm Just a coincidence or fate..? Nothing to do with the education that I received from that college? Sorry, but I feel I did receive a good education and I did receive support. I am not concerned with someone calling me a "fake". I stand behind my education and the success that I have received and I will refer the school to anyone wishing to become successful in nursing as well.
  3. hi, as i have indicated on this site previously, i have had only great experiences with pacific college. fortunately, i was referred to pacific college by some friends that had graduated in 2006. i feel that the teachers, the curriculum and the clinical instruction is the best. i would refer this college to anyone.
  4. Concorde is a good college, but classes are large. I would recommend Pacific College. They have great instructors (some have been there for years).....Tutoring is always available if you need it and the State Board Review is awesome. They also start new classes almost every month. I know I have learned alot!!!! :yeah:
  5. I would like to comment on the post by Nrs2Doc. I am a graduate of Pacific College and maintain a relationship with some of the students and teachers there. I am really baffled by your comments about the "mass exodus" of teachers from that college. Based on my experience there and input that I receive from people at the school, there is no so called "mass exodus" taking place..... If you read my previous post, you will see that I left Stanbridge due to the continuous change in teachers. My experience at Stanbridge was not good and resulted in the transfer....I am extremely glad that I made that decision. So you see, we all have our own experiences. Perhaps your time would be better utilized in studying, rather than concentrating on Pacific College and quoting fictitious information on this site.
  6. Hi Anxious LVN, I AM A GRADUATE OF PACIFIC COLLEGE. I TRANSFERRED TO PACIFIC FROM STANBRIDGE IN 2007 DUE TO THE VERY POOR TRAINING THAT I FELT I WAS RECEIVING AND DUE TO THE TEACHERS CHANGING EVERY OTHER DAY (AT LEAST IT FELT LIKE IT!). I WAS EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH MY TRAINING AT PACIFIC AND WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. I HAVE PASSED THE NCLEX AND KNOW THAT MANY OF THEIR GRADUATES PASS AS WELL. THEY HAVE A VERY GOOD PASS RATE AND PACIFIC HAS BEEN AROUND FOR A LONG TIME, SO MANY STUDENTS HAVE TAKEN THE TEST WHO HAVE GONE TO PACIFIC. I REALLY DON'T THINK VERY MANY STUDENTS FROM STANBRIDGE HAVE EVEN TAKEN THE NCLEX! THEY ARE TOO NEW TO REALLY BE REPRESENTED AT 100%!
