  1. I have a question I was wondering if anyone could offer some help with. I took NCLEX on 8/4 and passed, received my letter that I passed, and yet my license number is still not posted on the NYSBON. I know it can take about a week or more, but some other friends who passed it on 8/6 already have their license posted online. I just thought it was strange that mine is not there, even though I took it prior. Any thoughts?
  2. I was also wondering the same thing, I took NCLEX on 8/4 and passed, and still am not listed on the BON website. My employer however knew I passed the next day because they said they looked up my license and found it, I am still curious as to how this happened since I cannot find it myself and have not been back to work yet to ask.
  3. Thanks for all the kind words, it's comforting to know others care! I am supposed to be able to get results in 48 hours with the quick results, but should I check the BON first? I heard sometimes they post sooner (I am in NY). I am working the night shift tonight and tomorrow to occupy my time until Wednesday, but I can't shake the feeling that I failed and have to go through this all over again. Also, does anyone know how long I must wait to re-test in NY?
  4. Hi all, I'm new to the site but I just took the NCLEX-RN today and needed some serious support, this looked like a place for that! I took the test today and feel as though I have definately failed. I got 75 questions, and at least 25-30 (it felt like) SATA's! Those are the worst types for me, and what I was dreading. I felt like i knew nothing on this test, I left in tears and have been crying all day. There were med questions I never heard of, and I felt like nothing I studied was on there. I have been studying for months, did Kaplan, and was scoring well by their standards on their QBank and especially QT 6 and 7. I did not think the test was going to be this way, I felt confident like I had studied enough and did all I could, and now I can't believe it. The worst part is I am working as a GN in a position I truly love (OB) and am very upset about having to leave it. The wait is terrible, even though I don't believe I could have passed. I try to think of the best, but don't want to set myself up for disappointment even more. This was the hardest test ever, and I can't believe it's over like this.
