  1. I graduated this past May and know where you are coming from. Everyone had hyped up this last semester as being very difficult - and it was! But weren't they all? Patho was no walk in the park and you made it through that I assume. Stay focused, very organized, don't procrastinate a thing. Oh, and enjoy it a bit too! You have come a long way and you are on the edge of something really great. Maybe you need to look back and take stock of your accomplishments and give yourself a big pep talk. Good luck to you and your bright future
  2. The suggestions that I was given through this thread as well as other threads really helped me out yesterday - thanks!! The interview went great and I was asked for a second interview tomorrow. I thought I would share what questions were asked to me. 1. Share a time where you felt that you went "above and beyond" the duties of a nurse. 2. Share a time when you made a mistake and the steps that you took to correct that mistake. 3. What made you choose to go back to school at this stage of your life and why did you choose nursing? (guess I should disclose that I am 39!) 4. What questions do you have for me?
  3. Actually, I think your answer is very appropriate. Indicating that you would like to continue to improve on your knowledge and skills through the pursuit of a higher degree shows motivation. I was told during my interview of ways that the hospital would support me when I go for my MSN degree. Best of wishes to you!!
  4. Could any of you share questions that you were asked during interviews? I am trying to prepare myself for an interview on Tuesday and am quite nervous. Any other tips are welcomed as well!!
