  1. I am officially a gradute nurse. I graduated May 21 with my BSN. I will be starting on a medsurg/tele floor in the beginning of july. I was hired onto the floor where I had my senior practicum. I would appreciate any advice on organizing and time management, and any othe advice. The position alternates between days and evenings, 8 hour shifts.
  2. What are some good questions to ask during a graduate nurse interview. At a previous interview on a medsurg floor i was not hired, and one of the reasons is becasue I did not ask enough questions. Thanks for any help.
  3. Hey, I had an interview for a med-surg unit and found out this week that I didnt get it. One of the reasons is because I didnt ask enough questions. What type of questions are good to ask. Thanks for any help.
  4. Thanks, thats exactly how I feel. They say its easier to move down from critcal care then move up from med surg.
  5. I am curently in my last semster of nursing school and on a med surg foor for my senior practicum. I love it . Yes its busy and can be crazy at times but I think thats part of the appeal. I have had my days when Im tired and fed up but med surg is where my hear. When I tell nurses that I want to work on a med durg floor after gradution. They tell me dont do cause I will get pigeon holed and it will be harder to go to critical care if I decide later. Maybe later I will want to do critcal care but at this moment I have no desoire and dont feel comfortable doing that right out of school. I would love to hear anyones input.
  6. Did alot of jobs request your college school transcripts for your interview. If so did they want official or unofficial? I currently have a hold on my school account, and I dont know if I will be able to get a copy of my trancripts. Any advice?

  13. The problem is that my gpa fell below a 2.0 so I can't any type of federal aid.IO need to get a loan.
  14. Does anyone know of any loans that you don't need good credit or a cosigner. I need $6,000 to finish pay this semester. Without out I can't register for next semester. I am in my junior year of the nursing program. I have tried scholarships but my gpa isn't the best. The financial aid office at school is not that helpful. I have even considered joining the army or something. I am so desperate. I feel like I have gotten so far I don't wanna have to take another year off. Any help is appreciated. Thanks:cry:
