I passed!!! Whew!!! I received my certificate in the mail today!!! So now I am a Certified Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Technician...Did you check your name on the prometric website??? It should be posted there if you did pass...keep me posted....

Try not to worry...Keep checking the prometric site with your first and last name...that is what I did...I don't think that it will notify your of a fail score...however it will let you know if whether you have passed...keep me posted..I was nervous about my skills too ( I had the same that you had)but as I explained before...they do allow you a few errors...(not major ones though)... Wow...I just passed my exam on the 3rd of this month...tell me ...did you have a yellow card? I had the same skills...you might be okay...I know that you have to obtain a certain amount of points per skill...

Greets All...I passed my State Board Exam on February 3rd!!! I found out last night by searching my first and last name on the prometric site. :up:I am totally psyched!!! I was a bit shocked at first.. So now I am a full Patient Care Technician/ Certified Nursing Assistant. My next step is to take the CPR/AED Class and then the LPN entrance exam in the next couple of weeks. I feel as if a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. I will be sending resume's out once I have completed the 9 hour CPR/AED Class... Good Luck and Congratulations to all who have passed!!!

Greetings All...I finally took my state board exam yesterday! I'm psyched now because now comes the waiting process for my results. Could anyone tell me about how long it will take for my results to appear on the prometric website or for it to come in the mail? Thank you in advance...

I need a chill pill because I swear I am dreaming.. I remember this day.... seems like sooo long ago! I read and reread the NYS website... just wanted to see the words "YES YOU PASSED" but didn't! instead saw my cert # and an expiration date and it did seem like a dream!! I was jumping up and down in my apartment by myself!!! trying to catch my breath and trying to call as many people as I could too! It was a crazy day!! I hope all of you who haven't taken the exam yet can have this same awesome crazy feeling soon!!! Congratulations to you! I took my exam yesterday. I am so on edge about my results. How long does it take for the results to show online?

Greetings To All. I reside in Queen, NY. I just started my CNA class last night. My class will end on April 10th and then my internship will begin. I plan on proceeding on to pursue a certifcation as a Nursing Technician and then on to my BSN with no date confimed as yet. I was fortunate enough to be able to obtain an educational grant from the department of labor that covered all of the cost for my class.

Congrats to you on your progress!!! I live in Queens, NY also and just started class last night. I am concerned as well about the hiring freezes. Please keep me posted on your continued progress. I also plan to continue on for my BSN.:redpinkhe:heartbeat

Greetings All and Congrats to you for all of your progress! I also reside in Queens, NY and attended my first class last night. I am so excited and looking forward to the steps ahead of me. My class ends on April 10th and then its off to my internship. I just wanted to share some information since I realize that your class cost was kinda steep. The department of labor provides educational grants of up to $2500. The entire cost of my class was covered and it was $799. If you are interested in proceeding on to the Nursing Tech (Phlebotomy and EKG) then you could definitely look into this once you have obtained your certification.
