  1. I am interested in getting my CHPN. I have ordered the core curriculum and the study guide. I wish there was some kind of a class to take or an on-line class that could help prepare me for the test. I do better in a class than reading and studying on my own. Thanks for any advise! Jill
  2. Thanks for the ideas. I will check them out.
  3. I will be graduating from nursing school in May. I have five close friends that I have made while in nursing school. I would like to get them something special for graduation. Since there are five of them, it can't be really expensive. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks so much for your help!

  14. Hi~ I am just starting into my nursing classes and so I can't answer that questions, but I will tell you about Anatomy and Physiology and Microbiology. At the time I took the classes, my professors told us that if we wanted a B in the class that we needed to study a minimum of 2 hours for every hour we were in class. If we wanted an A, we needed to spend a minimum of 3 hours studying for every hour in class. I found that to be true. I usually spent about 6 hours a week studying for A&P. Make sure you study some everyday. Don't wait and think that you will just study really hard before the test and do well. It probably won't happen. I spent less time studying for Micro. It never seemed as hard as A&P. Study and I'm sure you will do a great job. Good Luck~ Jill
  15. Anatomy and Physiology I was definetely the hardest. A&P II was a lot easier to understand. Microbiology was not nearly as hard. It was very interesting. Good Luck~ Jill
