I the NET for the 2nd time this afternoon! And I PASSED! I got a 74% in the Math! I got a 47% the first time i took it on Saturday. And yes it was the same test the second time around...same math and same reading on animals and hibernation.

Thanks CSantos! I am going to retake the test. I actually got a good friend that is great in math to tutor me. Plus I am printing out the 2 different practice test and timing myself. I want to be a nurse so bad and i let time slip away all these years........i have to pass this test.

Thank you all for your advice. I have a friend that is great in math and he is my tutor. I had a session with him today and it was great! I realize i knew alot of the math...just had to refresh my brain since i have not use it in over 10 yrs! I dont wanna be a CMA and I dont wanna be a CNA I want to be a nurse. Starting out as a LPN then to RN. So Im going to study my butt off and pass that test this Thursday! I am following the advice of CSantos on taking the NET and will be more prepared for the test this time around. I will post my update on Thursday.

Hello everyone...i am new here. I always wanted to be a nurse. I majored in Health tech in high school then went to school for MAA(Medical Admin Asst) I applied for a LPN school and I took the NET and failed..i needed a 50% and i got a 47%. I was told I could take it again. My question is I was told by the admission counselor that if I failed the NET again i should enroll as a CMA. Once I finish i would have layed the needed ground work and then apply for the LPN right afterwards. This is good advice she is giving me? Or should I just prepared more and harder and keep trying to the LPN till I pass the test? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you

Hello everyone...Im new to this site. I went for my NET test today and i failed it. I needed a 50% in math and i got a 47% In Reading i got caught up trying to go back and re-read everything and didnt keep track of time and ran out of time not able to answer all the questions so i ended up with a 40% when i needed 50% to get accepted into the school. I felt so defeated and unintelligent!!! I was told I can take the test again this coming Tuesday or Thursday. I an very nervous that i will not pass. Can anyone give me any advice about take the NET test for the second time around? Please any advice would be so much appreciated. RCastro
