  1. 3-11 was hard for me because I couldn't help ny kids with homework - and I don't know about your significant other(trying to be PC), but my husband's idea of feeding our kids is the drive-through so it ends up being fast food every time. You might try, depending on what unit you work in, 11a -11p for three days a week or night shift so you can sleep while they're in school - you get to do homework and have dinner with them before you go to work. It's tough! Good luck.
