   For a stethoscope, something mid-range should suit you nicely, and should still last for years to come. Consider models available from DRG/Trimline, Riester and MDF. Riester also offer a range of superior quality penlights as well as the "Ri-Light"...

   Consider others; such as the selection by MDF, the Riester range from Germany, and DRG/Trimline's PureTone models (the latter being available with SafeSEAL Soft Stethoscope Diaphragms and GELseal Eartips.

   Yup, it's a "designer label" thing for sure, but you will find that the PureTone (DRG/Trimline), cardiophon and tri-star (Riester), and the ER Premier (MDF) models are all of equal calibre.
