  1. dalaneyjaney, I am local, direct entry, and part time ( because I work full time, and have two young kids). The pace is rough for my friends who are full time. I don't know of anyone who has been able to maintain a job with the full time program. It's been described by many like drinking out of a firehose, but the faculty are great and everyone wants you to be successful.
  2. Hi jkoby, I am a current student in the AG-ACNP program graduating in August. It does not require an interview. If you have other questions I am happy to help. I received a lot of help on this forum when I first applied.
  3. I have been following, but this is my first time posting. Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted! I just found out I was accepted to the AGACNP program a couple weeks ago. Has anyone thought about setting up a Facebook page? I found one for last years class but not for this year.
  4. You should have plenty of time to prepare for the test. I had a stretch of 5 days off before the test and all I did was go through the questions in the ENA CEN review book. Several of those questions even ended up on the test. Good luck.
  5. . first of all i want to wish you congratulations. the er is a great place to start your career. i would absolutely recommend becoming an ena member. it is well respected and gives education related to what you will be experiencing as an er nurse. it is a little pricy, but if you continue in the emergency department you can takes steps through the ena to be certified and get your cen.
