  2. Yes, our hospital mandates what scrub color each discipline must wear. We started doing this about 6 years ago. I have to say that at first I did not like it, but at this point, I think it was a very smart decision. It looks professional. You can easily identify a fellow nurse, aide, secretary, etc from different floors. Patients DO love it. Having visited a hospital recently where this was not the case---it just makes the whole hospital look so much better to have the color coordinated uniforms! Our hospital does not give a uniform allowance. They do host an annual uniform sale that allows us to payroll deduct with added discounts.
  3. I need some information from you guys about what hours, foods, etc that your cafeteria is open for the night shift. We are trying to start to provide some sort of food services (besides vending machines) and need some general information from others. Our hospital is about 350 beds. Any suggestions and feedback are very much appreciated!!!!:heartbeat
