I am finally done! NCLEX-RN time...
I am so happy that your 13 year old is ok.....I have been looking at all your posts...I am soooo impressed!!!! I finished all my NC tests and pre req's in March. I am just stressing out about the CPNE. I am so proud of you that you are all done. I just don't feel like studying for the CPNE. Nursing would be my 2nd profession. I have already been at my current job for 26 years..but took off 3 years to get my pre req's for Rn school... but at the time they were laying off RN's and hiring LPN's..so I went to LPN school in 95'. Now, I am wanting to do something different and go back into nursing... I am just scared of the CPNE. I am not ready to get all stressed out about the CPNE. Is it really that bad? I don't have that much experience as a nurse............

NC1 - any tips/suggestions?
Hi, It was hard.. a lot of nursing jargon in the questions. You need to know the nursing process and follow the EC content guide. You will be fine!! Good luck

Anyone know if there is a college offering part time classes for LPN-RN?
Hi There, I don't think there is any school that you can go part time. I am a LPN and I did all my RN pre req's at GRCC. I wanted to go to a "regular" nursing school....but each one had different pre req's. Highline, TCC and BCC. I am doing the Excelsor college RN program. It is not on line. It is a self study. You need to take A&P 200, pys 100, 210, micro..ect. just like traditional nursing school. You take 7 nursing tests and then the clinical at the end. I really like it. I work full time and have 3 children too. This is great for me. I already took 2 test and passed them both. It is nice because you don't have to go to a classroom. I heard all the "horror" stories about the clinical at the end. I know a lot of people that went this route and passed with flying colors. They are great RN's today.
