to salve: are in the states already? anyway im interested in signing wiht cambridge. my friend just arrived in maryland last september 11, 2009 and he's doing great. first of all how do i start? do i go to cambridgehealtcare.com directly or to ABBA? i have a 2 years 9 mnths exp in nursing. 2 years 4 months of those are in the ER. Do they consider ER as a special area? i have passed the ielts and nclex already. and i know i still have to apply for a visa screen.. waht else do i need?

Since i dont have a license, and obviously CAli doesn't give one if you do not have an SS#, i think i will use licensure by examination application form by the state on which i am going to transfer or whatever terms they use? am i right suzzane? hehe. i hope u answer..

i just passed the NCLEX last june 18. :0 nwez my problem is the freakin SS# they require before u get your license #. And i bleleive i wont be in the states with in 3 years. And i dont want my file to be destroyed. I want to transfer to another state. Specifically NY or whatever states that does'nt require an SS# before they give your license number. Any suggestions? how can i transfer?

Im also a recent NCLEX passer and my state is California.Im considering applying to New York, So if apply through examination, do i have to take the exam again? What other states can u recommend that i apply and do not require an SSN before they give my license?

hey.. retrogression sucks bigtime. I just passed the NCLEX, CA was my state.. They asked me bout my SS# before they give me my license and i should submit it within 3 years or my file would be destroyed. And i dont think i can be in the states within 3 years becasue of the retrgression and some other stuffs.. i think you should postpone NCLEX. get your 2 years experience, take NCLEX, then IELTS, then visa screen
