WOOHOO I took my florida nclex RN boards on Saturday. Did the pearson view trick. Got the good message. Well today the FL BON/DOH website did not update - but I logged in and paid the 7.95 for my pearson view results. It says I passed!!!! Now if only the BON would hurry up!!! All my other classmates found out the following day!!!! I want my licence!!!! lol :)

Ice2015 - CONGRATS - Hopefully tomm I will make sure this trick works for me! Atleast I was able to sleep a bit better last night!!! It appears the FL DOH does not update on weekends then. Mine from Saturday is not updated on Sunday. Eitherway - tomm is my 48 hour mark. (I wonder if its 48 hrs from the start or end of the test??) I will also post tomm if I am active on the FL DOH site. :)

I was gonna ask the same. I am soooo glad I got the pop up. I just hope this trick works! Atleast it will help me sleep the next 2 nights and then I can worry about whats next come around monday. I just could not beleive I got all 265 questions. All my other classmates were in and out at 75. UGh. Goodluck everyone! I will deff post if the trick works for me!

I yook my nclex-RN today too (on saturday!!!). I got all 265 questions and am freakin out - but I got the good message! I am in Florida. Generally for my classmates - the florida DOH had the results the following day around 8:30-9:30. I doubt they post on Sunday - so hopefully Monday my results will post!!! I reallllllly hope this trick works. Have people gotten this message and failed??? Or is it pretty much 100% effective??? I have not read all 9000 post. lol.

I was my personal - the one I put on my application. I was not registered to Edison and had no clue what Portal was a year ago. lol.

Goodluck! Hopefully you should already have a good idea on your points. Last year we received an email on Fri July 11th, it said congrats and we will be getting a packet in the mail in a few days. (That was for the Evening Program) :-)

Goodluck to those that are applying! The evening program is pretty good - but it is a lot of work. Especially working full time. The Summer session is actually very fast paced and a to of test and work. We are taking Med Surg and Pharm this semester. Pharm is a quiz every week and Med Surg is 7 test over 12 weeks. Each test has about 250 pages of reading. We also have a 12 hour clinical on the weekends. Plus we have like 4 of 5 papers due throughout the semesters, 2 care plans, and patient assignment sheets due weekly. Right now we are halfway done and will graduate next Spring. We can complain, but you just gotta keep focused - find the time to do stuff - and keep looking ahead. It is doable when your dedicated. Also it helps when your not as concerned about your grades - and you focus on learning.

Well - yea you are busier - lol. I am just in class 2 nights a week now - but still working full time. I also go to a lot of the Saturday practices and then group project stuff maybe once a week. It all just depends on when test and things are due. I do not know what an IPA is. I just worked on the practice care plans with my group last night. So when I get back from lunch I will finish those up. lol. :) Next semester I am in class still 2 nights a week. But we also add on the Saturday 12 hour clinicals every other Saturday. (Total of 4 CRN classes) I will be at Southwest for the first half then go to the new hospital when that opens up. I also have to see if Human Growth and Development is offered online and take that as well. I was able to knock out my first set of volunteer hours already. So atleast I am keeping up with it all so far! Goodluck!!!

Just poking in to say hi! I have not logged into the site for a while and the site sent me an email saying to log in. lol. So far this first semester is going good. Very busy but it is almost over!!! I can not wait to start clinicals next semester. how is everyone else doing?? Take Care

Range of Motion - Extension, Flexion, etc...lol. It reminded me of head shoulders knees and toes. :) Tommorow I need to play on WebCT and get used to finding all the stuff online. For those in the evening program - Edison registered the classes for us already and the payment is due by the 6th. They sent notices on the Edison email - but I am not in the habit of checking my Edison account all the time yet - so I guess I need to get in the habit. lol. Now I need to order my books. Man do those add up in cost fast! I am gonna try to see if I can get any online for a bit cheaper. Has anyone had any luck with any online sites or do you normally just get them from the school?

I just wanted to come on here and post that I am still excited! In 1 month from tonight the fall evening program will start. lol. I am going to try and take your advice of taking DEP2004 this semester. But I need to make sure I get the payment for the main classes first. hehe. Thanks for all the tips!!!

Thanks Kitty and Fl Mom. I really hope that I enjoy this program. Do you guys have any ideas what type of nurses you want to be? Those are some great tips. I really should look online to buy my books. I know some of them can get very expensive and I generally keep all my school books. Is there a way to get a list of the books before the start of the semester? I still need to take Human Growth and Development - DEP 2004. I was thinking of taking that in the first Spring Semester. Do you think that semester is pretty busy? I will check into the scholarships. My job will pay for 6 credits a semester but something for books will help. :) I also think I need to pay all the additional nursing fees. Are you guys working while going to school? I have a full time job so I am hoping that I will be able to balance the 2 things at once along with other things in life. If something does come up with work - i.e. If have a conference, are the teachers understanding if I make up the work? Thanks for the help!
