My mailman came early and I got my packet. It said that we have to show up Thursday 4-28-11. On the back it stated that we had to come on Friday too. Did your agenda say this? I am trying to set up childcare and just want to be sure. Also, it said classes were Tuesday and Wednesday (lab). I wonder if this is just for the first week or ongoing? Des anyone know when we will start clinical? I hope we all can meet before the orientation to get acquainted. Mornings are good for me too.

I had to call the nursing dept for something today and spoke with *******(secretary). She said that the packets were still on her desk and waiting fthey were for the labels to be put on them??? She said that they would be going out shortly and we would receive them "like in a day or two". She did say that the orientation would be very informative for us and answer all of our questions.

I am from Dartmouth :) I hope some thing happens and you guys get in..There is still hope. Someone may not pay the deposit or might change schools. If not, I wish you all luck wherever you end up :)

The great thing is that we have started a great support system with eachother (and school hasn't even started yet). I am looking forward to meeting all of you (and studying, supporting, stressing and crying with all of you too) LOL How do you know what to buy? I am completely lost...I have no idea which shoes, nurse pack, stethoscopes or watches to buy?? HELP!!

I took AP 1&2 qith *****. When did you take it? She is very tough but an awesome professor. I learned so much.I have taken so many history classes but dw states I still need one.

Question for those of you who have paid the $200 fee. Did you get any thing when you paid besides a receipt like some type of paperwork. I mailed in my payment when I got the acceptance letter. I still haven't received anything and they haven't cashed the check yet. A little nervous.

I completely agree. I was told the same thing about how hard it was and blah blah blah!! I think nursing school will be stressful, a lot of work and a balancing act with children or work...but we got this far right? I am just excited and nervous about everything. So it seems like the June 18 is the date for us all to take the CPR class??? Is that ok with everyone? If not, we can go some other date. Yes to taking it at BCC.

I know that access BCC is still down but I think there is a class on the Sat the 18th..I think from 9-1?? What does everyone think? sound good?

Any day is fine with me. Perhaps sometime in June..Sat class?
