Tutor Needeed!
Thanks for the advice, but have been using supplemental resources, NClEX style review questions and rationales, I've gone over and over the questions in my Fundamentals textbook, infact I have several texbooks that I reference along with any additional resources that may be available. My situation is somewhat different, and I really need a tutor. Thanks for advice!

JSRCC Nursing.
I'm a former student of Bon Secours and hated their program. I felt the program wasn't about the students. They are more worried about their pass/fail rate then they are teaching students. Ask for help and they basically tell you that you are on your own. It was the worst experience, since leaving I have found many students who had they same experience that I had. They have transferred to J Sarg and love it, I'm sure that has to do with what they went through at Bon Secour. I start J Sarg this spring and can't wait. While it will never be a perfect program I am certain they are more interested in my success than they're ratings.

JSRCC Nursing.
I'm with XYRN2b2010, I attended Bon Secours spring semester 2009 and it was the worst experience of my life. If the school would get off their high horse, get over themselves and focus on teaching students perhaps students wouldn't be leaving the over rated program. It was a nightmare, the instructors were so into themselves and their power trips. Their expectation are ridiculous and most of them have nothing to do with your education. Funny when I started reevaluating my options I found so many students that have left Bon Secours, thrown away tuition money and time invested into the program to transfer to a better program! JSRCC nursing program may have faults (what program doesn't) but the advisor and most of the instructors seem to be interested in your progress and ultimately finishing the school and passing the state boards. Bon Secour could care less on your success! XYRN, I will see you in the spring!

JSRCC
There is no waiting list. Either you get in or they will roll your application over for the next semester and you reapply..

She is extremely helpful and wants you to succeed. She is an asset to the program, great first impression!

JSRCC
I'm not sure if they are still taking applicants for early acceptance. They look at your GPA that consists of all your prereq courses. Anything else doesn't matter, make sure you've got great NET scores! Good luck on your application process!

JSRCC
You have to have the courses complete, with grades. They use that to determine how competitive you are. Double check with the nursing program. There is an advisor and faculty member there that can really help you. She has her act together and will guide you through the whole thing. Don't have her number, but if you call JSRCC main numer and ask to be transferred to her, they will do it.

JSRCC
For early application you had to have had all your pre reqs completed and a GPA of at least 3.5. I was lucky I happened to have everything in order. Just make sure you have everything completed when you apply, they emphasize the fact that they have too many completed applications to consider incomplete applications.

JSRCC
I've been selected for "early acceptance" in the RN program at JSRCC, is there anyone out there that is either applying for Spring 2010 or that has been selected early? Also is there anyone who has gone through the program? Is there anyone that has anything else to say about the program (other than the director and her staff). I am currently in a nursing program (diploma) and it is so terrible many wish that they had gone elsewhere, and I am considering transferring. I know the grass isn't always greener on the other side, but I would love to find a school where it isn't all show, where the teachers aren't on a power trip and where the teachers want to teach. My experience at JSRCC had been ok for general educatin classes and the application process has been surprisingly effortless and one particular advisor and teacher, went over and beyond to help me. Please let me know anything you may know about the program!

Bon Secours Fall 09
Hi Helen, I am in my first semester at BSMSON and there wasn't a waiting list when I applied. That doesn't mean it's easy acceptance, it means that they don't carry over their applicants. Not sure who told you that there are plenty of slots an not to worry. There are a lot of slots but their are a lot more applicants than slots. It's extremely competitive and I think they consider everything about your application!! Good luck to you!

NO EVEING RN OR LPN Classes available
I'm not sure but I think that Bon Secours Memorial School of Nursing offers an evening program in the fall. I am starting in January and they only offer day classes, but my friend started in the fall and she attends night classes. And someone told me that in the fall they offer both day and night classes.
