  1. silvermist . . a friend of mine told me about the hospital.. so i went online and looked up HSS.. and i found the contact email for the nurse recruiter. . i emailed her directly and attached a copy of my resume. . she replied back the following day stating that the only opening for new grads are the PACU residency program which starts in nov 3. there are 6 available positions for the program.. and i believe theres 9 or 12 including me they are paneling next week.. ::crossing fingers:: i hope i get it.. i absolutely love it there..

  8. i just found out an hour ago that i didn't pass as well.. i took a review course and i did 3000+ q's .. and come to find out i failed.. i had the feeling that i failed right after i took the exam.. i was very anxious about the exam that i even studied the night before.. even though i KNEWW that we are to relax. i was anxious throughout the whole exam that it seemed like i forgot everything.. meds, side effects. i kept getting med questions.. and i had an anxiety attack that i had to take a break after 75 q's.. and then more meds.. but no med computation what so ever.. after the 90 something question it turned off.. i went home and looked up the last question . and i got it wrong.. cried my eyes out for the next 48 hours.. my friends and family supported me and re assured that it's not the end of the world, that they all know i was smart.. and i'm happy that they have my back and they didn't make me feel like such a failure.. i know i can do it the second time around.. i think now that i know what to expect. my anxiety wont get the best of me... i KNOW i knew the material... let's move forward together.. well kick ass the second time around..yea??:chuckle
