Took kaplan twice and nclex twice at 265 questions I think I failed again
Hi Cquest! I just wanted to ask your opinion as to how are you doing things differently this time. It seems like Kaplan didn't work and I do agree that in some ways that they can give a student a false reassurance. Have you talked to others or have heard of some ideas that could help us in the future exam. I am thinking about the online preparatory course of NCSBN. Up till this day I haven't got my results. And I am slowly realizing that as the day go by, my chances of passing are getting slimmer. That is why I reapplied to re-take the exam. I want to take action as early as now rather wait for 4 weeks and get something official in the mail. Let me know your thoughts? Thanks.

Help! - Took and Finished KAPLAN course plus ALL review q. Time Ran out during exam!
much thanks for your inputs glamgal. From my understanding the last 60 question rule pertains to those individuals who ran out of time while taking the test. If your last question was 255 while the time ran out, they will look at questions 195-255 and gauge your performance to determine if you have been answering "passing questions" you can also look at this website from NCSBN https://www.ncsbn.org/Pass_Fail_Rules.pdf paragraph 2 and 5

Help! - Took and Finished KAPLAN course plus ALL review q. Time Ran out during exam!
hello cquest and everyone! I took the NCLEX this Monday July 7th. I consumed the whole 6 hours and ran out of time. The last question I saw was 255 and therefore the computer did not allow me to continue. I took the Kaplan course answered all 7 qtrainers and all qbanks, watched 75 percent of the videos, spend an average of 5-7 hours per day of studying. I would say that I have answered almost 3,000 questions and have been getting high 50s to mid 60 % on each set of question (most ppl think this is a reasonable score). I am almost certain that I failed the exam because 1. Time ran out 2. I got anxious and rattled as the numbers went up. I would say that from questions 220 up to 255 that I got hysterical and "just kept clicking" for the most part (I wouldn't say that I selected the best answer due to the fact that I was in a panic mode). I was unaware of the last 60 question rule so I was just hoping to reach # 265 and get it right. Saw a lot of inspiring messages in this website about not losing hope. I am just worried into how should I prepare differently if I do fail. I prepared well as you can see. I incorporated discipline in my review, ran 3 miles everyday, never drank a single alcohol for the past 5 weeks and still there is a 99.9% chance that I failed. I am just seeking help from you all what are your thoughts and advises if I do indeed fail the NCLEX after all that preparation?
