  1. On my way to work this weekend I recently got pulled over for speeding on the Dulles Toll Road in VA. VA considers anything over 80 reckless driving - a level 1 misdemeanor. I will be lucky if I avoid jail time and will probably get stuck with the criminal record. What will be the ramifications of this in terms of obtaining a license and employment? Does reckless driving = reckless nurse? My reckless driving ticket was for speeding only. No accident, no DUI. And I have a clean record otherwise.

i have a samiliar problem. can anyone offer any advice? for the past five months i have been preparing to attend johns hopkins' tradional bsn program in september. i've done everything from getting my immunizations to buying my uniforms, the most adorable polo shirts with johns hopkins embroidered on them. i was mentally ready to go to hopkins. then yesterday i received a letter that threw me all off track. an acceptance letter from university of maryland's clinical nurse leader program. this is a fairly new program but upon completion i would receive a masters instead of just a bsn, in only 16 months, and for possibly 20k less. i have a huge dilemma. i know you're probably reading this and wondering what my problem is but i really don't know what to do. i am mainly concerned about the quality of training i will receive and the types of jobs i will get once i graduate. johns hopkins is very expensive so that's something else to consider. i have no experience as a nurse so will my masters from university of maryland trump a bsn from hopkins? ultimately, i'd like to either specialize, go into administration, work for the government, or teach. i've already graduated from a big name school and while i feel like its opened some doors for me i also feel like i could have gone to a lesser known school, saved a lot of money and still had a quality education. please advise. i have only a couple of days to decide.
