  1. it sounds to me that you need to write you bon or whoever is in charge of the certifying nursing assistants and have an evaluation done. why would they have an actor who doesn't have an apical pulse that can be auscultated?? not even his doctor can find it?? why would they even continue to make you find it..why didn't they allow you to move on after you "observer" couldn't even find it?...wouldn't it be out of the scope of practice for a cna to ever have to auscultate the apical pulse?...i'm not sure if this helps but it seems that if that's the only thing that you had a hiccup on they need to certify you for you hard work on everything other section of the test. i wouldn't pay to take it again until i got some answers from the folks in charge of your test.
  2. I think the ATI predictor is accurate but only if you pass the exit exam the first time and only if you use VirtualATI NCLEX review. I got a 70% on the predictor the first time and passed boards the first time. It truly all depends on the person just study hard, study/review different types of questions and their rationals, and know your labs values and common drugs. Relax and take you time during testing and you'll do well on it. Don't worry about the number of questions you get.....this is a pass or fail exam!
  3. Hi I really want to move to Delaware to be closer to friends. I just passed boards but I havent accepted a position yet. Im still waiting for positions at Christiana or St. Francis to open up. Ive been waiting a month now and ive grown restless. Everyone is saying that there is a nursing shortage but Delaware doesnt seem to be having one since I don't see an open positions for new graduates. So I really want to move but I don't want to do so until I know I have a position. I am willing to wait another month or so but not any longer. Does anyone have any recomendations on what to do while I wait for Christiana or St. Francis to post new graduate positions?? What nearby hospitals maybe be a better option? Or is there a shortage on positions for new grads in surrounding states also????
  4. CONGRATS!!.:yeah::yeah:...Its a wonerful feeling to have accomplished NCLEX!
  5. Don't worry the video has been around for a while. "Trashman" has even come out and said its not true and the only reason that he did this series of videos was to raise awarness of unprotected sex in his community/USA. And actually most recently hes been arrested for claiming to have poisoned Gerber baby food to kill babies. The FBI got involved and hes now in jail awaiting trial. Here is the link to the article.... http://www.nydailynews.com/news/ny_crime/2008/07/31/2008-07-31_man_nabbed_for_poison_rant_on_youtube.html
  6. Hello.. I have also noticed that everyone seem to say they passed/failed at 75...some may be being dishonest others may not... I took mine and had 166 questions and passed on the first time. But remember the amount of questions doesnt mean that your passed or failed. Just be patient and try to relax while you wait for your results.:wink2:
  7. I would like to join also...I will be testing soon and will keep everyone in my prayers as I pray. Just keep studying and GOD will do the rest !!
