  1. I definitely know it increased stress for me. Twelve hours of stress mentally and physically (turning 300-500 lb. pts. every 2 hours) isn't good for anyone. I don't care if you do have 4 days off. In the long run what do you think is going to happen to your legs, backs, etc...
  2. I'm right there with you on working 8 hour shifts. People think that working 8 hour shifts every day are awful, but I just did 3 years in CCU of working 12 hour shifts and I felt like crap the other 4 days. It took me 3 of those days to get over the 3 days I worked, so I really only had one good day off. I come home now more relaxed, I get 8 hours of sleep, me and my husband can plan things again "together" because he works 5 days a week on days and hopefully I can now lose weight!!!!!!
  3. So Geekgolightly I'm confused did you pass the Hesi test or not? How many sections are on this test? I take it before the end of the year. It sounds really hard. I am now more terrified.

I'm told we have to make a 85 on our test or they make us stay back for 5 weeks to do remediation then take the test again. I don't know what happens if you fail it the second time around.

How many questions are on the Hesi Test for the PN exit exam? I am so nervous about having to take this test. I ordered material from the HESI website, but its for RN review, not LPN review.
