  1. Nholmes I was told by several students that Trinitas program is hard. In my first semester a young lady mentioned that everyone in her Nur 232 class had failed. I just have to face it since I transferred from BCC. Monroe is a great school and their program seems to be do able since you have to be a LPN first before you become a RN.....>> Good Luck!!
  2. Thanks!! :thankya: Propranolol. Its Funny you mention practice your math..>>> I brought the Pharm book beginning of the fall semester and my intention was to practice over the break...>> I will defiantly take your advice: You have a wonderful holiday!! :christmasball:
  3. Hello I would like to announce that I recieved my Invitation for NUR 130....>>>> NOW!! the Rumble Begins... >>>>
  4. i am trying to take micro again last time i took this class with both lecture and lab on the same day.. with 2 more four credit classes....:angryfire:banghead: I thought i was doing well until my Micro professor judge you on how well you answer a question to see if you are really studying.. I maintain a 2.78 average after the semester but he gave me a C- and said i was lazy! I really dont want this to happen again... and now i got to do it all over>>> >>> think its wise to do it with nur130:coollook: Help!!... Im a transfer student from BCC >>>> UCC.....need advice!!!
  5. My fear is once i get in the program :uhoh21:. I heard so many stories about nursing, how a GPA of 3.0 is great but, once you are in the nursing program be thankful you recieve a 75.0. which is pretty much crazy. I have changed my major twice and now i am in my fourth yr in school with 73 credits with a 2.85 GPA. I know my capabilities but,I don't know maybe I'm just feeling a little discourage:coollook:.
  6. i'm also a transferred student at union county college and would like to know if someone knows when do you recieve an invitation into the program. i have taken chem, public speaking, history and child psych for this semester and doing alright so far. but, i am really worried about making it into the program for spring 2009 since, i have nothing eles to take. does anyone know if i have to complete all my classes before i recieve my invitation. also, i would like to know if there are any books that are fundamental to read so i can prepare myself for nursing 130..... since i have to wait for my invitation......... hopfully spring 2008..........
  7. i need help!!!! :yawn:i have a slight problem..... my spelling is not so great and i want to improve it before i enter the nursing program. i have completed most of my prerequire classes except, i have to re-take micro over because trinitas wouldn't accept my c-....but, they did accepted 26 of my credits. i need to be prefectionate:specs: in my spelling please someone:banghead: help!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. It seems like it took me forever to complete my prerequire classes and core classes. Now I am waiting for my letter of acceptance this for this semester. BUT!!! I feel more scared then excited, and was wondering if thats the NORm!!
  9. Before, I left Bronx Community College and transferred to UCC, I took a medical terminology course and was wondering would that benefit me in the program.
  10. I don't know what BTW means? But, I thank you for your honest comment:specs: and your rapid response.
  11. I am a deterime person who drives on you can't. I was reading other people quotes about UCC and the negitive experiances they incountered with profs. I enjoy the medical field but, hated i waited this long to go back to school at age 38. I'm a single Parent with two children that are great ages, so i can be more flexable, knowing nursing school is a rigors program. My :sofahiderfear is my acadamics, science wasn't my strength but i do well in math. Therefore, would this be a serious problem for me in the program? :msk:
  12. I'm a bit nerves entering the Nursing Program and hope I do well. I left a school that was somewhat worse than Ucc and thought i would be running from the problem. But, i realize reguardless where u go the situation seems to be the same. I just want to know does the entire program make u feel as if nursing isn't for you and lack students with the support they need to move on?
  13. I am a transfer student and I just reg for chemistry and child psych with two by back classes. Ucc accepted about 22 credit from me and i am thankfull. However, i was told that u needed an personal invitation to enter Nur 130. Do anyone know if it's possiable u can get an invitation while your finishing your pre-req. Also, I would like to know is there's anyone that have the same situtaion like me. Waiting for SPring 2008:yeah::icon_roll
