We had 3 exams, 1 care plan, and 1 lab checkoff (next lab check off is next week?) I don't know cause things change so much. Then we have 4 exams in March blah blah blah...but not too bad so far. I heard we have 3 classes, 3 labs, and a clinical in the summer (we are taking 4 classes and 2 labs, and a clinical this semester). I really love school :) Necie

jazzy...it has been a hot mess over here, but i think i'm finally finding my rhythm. we had a few drug calculation question on our adult i exam, but nothing too drastic yet. i don't think we've lost too folk yet. i'm wrestling with putting together my careplan which is due tomorrow. do you guys have to do them too?

LOL..I know Jazzy..it's crazy right now. I'm not this tired after working an eighty hour week at the cable company. We took the TEAS today. They said it didn't count against us, that it was only a baseline. I'm not sure yet what purpose it served, but I'm sure we will know soon. It wasn't bad at all. I did well on the reading comprehension/sentence structure etc, average on the math, and really well on the science/chemistry portion which surprised me considering how I struggled in chemistry (I'm such a nerd). Good luck with all the reading, I'm getting all caught us and organized this weekend.

Yeah, It's pretty intense Jazzy and we haven't stepped foot in a classroom yet...toasterbell...you did a lot better than me on those readings..I tried several times to log into blackboard to see if there was some condensed version of our assignments, but kept getting kicked out all weekend. lol..nice save toaster. lol I was asking if the mental picture you had of me before was tall, blonde, and skinny...I know how it is when you have a picture of someone in your head it don't always match the real thing. Like RocketsSon for example...i def wasn't thinkin tall and Asian..like he described himself!

albkat, The school must acknowledge reciept of the entrance exam and mpn in order for it to update in the portal (you can call them Monday to have that done). The money is disbursed to the school today, but the school will not release it until the 5th. The school gets theirs first, and if you have direct deposit up you will get yours that day too. If you do not have direct deposit, your check will be mailed out on the 6th.

lol! It's ok...it's perfect to me..You did all the research! The books are about the only thing I haven't checked on so far. I hope this is the list for BOTH semesters, cause that's a lot a books!

I don't know if this is all we need, but the email we got awhile ago specifically named: Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary, 21st Edition $37.46 Davis's Drug Guide for Nurses $37.46 RNotes®: Nurse's Clinical Pocket Guide $21.71 Handbook of Nursing Diagnosis $29.96 So this is what I'm starting with and will see if we need any others during orientation.
