  1. Download both forms.
  2. Only the NMC knows. :)
  3. I also did not receive any emails from NMC that they received the documents. Assessment could take up to 70 days, but many are getting their DL's after 30 or more days from the date the documents have been placed into the queue.
  4. I was placed jn the assessment queue last April 19. Usually it takes them a week to reply to my emails.
  5. I received my DL a week ago. I did not call NMC but I sent an email to them about my application.
  6. Yes I am. Just send a PM and I'll try to answer as much as I can.
  7. Good luck.
  8. I got mine yesterday. Probably assessed last April 19, 2016.
  9. Good luck on your results.
  10. I called NMC today regarding the documents submitted. One form is not reflected as received in the portal and the agent who answered my call said they did not receive the document (employer reference form 2) while the other documents were marked as received even though all the forms were submitted together.
  11. I am also waiting for the DL. Only the docs from PRC were reflected as received. The other documents are not.
  12. in our school, we are required to shave and a haircut... if not... NONCREDIT!.. or withdrawal from the clinical area!
  13. its really very hard when your instructor is paranoid, bipolar and just plain MEAN!
  14. Perception/Coordination...it drains me everytime...
  15. My reasons: 1. my mother wants me to be a nurse, I can just remember her reaction when I told her I was hesitant to take up nursing 2. I want to be a doctor (neurosurgeon) and help neuropatients... cuz my dad died cuz of brain CA, and when I was young, I had this promise to myself to help.. I hope I can... And I believe in order to be a very good doctor, I need to learn how to look at patients holistically---and that is learned in nursing 3. i heard comments from people i know that its fun ( though its very stressful, we still learn how to experience fun)
  16. same here... i can just remember I had this patient, we were on team nursing. Once the team enters the room, the child just screams and resists, it took us 10 minutes to take the blood pressure despite the attempt to be nice, show toys, etc..
  17. We are technically having problems with our research problem. What we would like to find out is what were the possible things related to the development of breast cancer among women here in our province through interviewing and giving out questionnaires to women diagnosed with breast cancer in any stage. We wanted to find out whether diet, hormonal influences, genetics, occupation, and environmental exposure wee the ones that possibly caused why they are having cancer. Our group wanted to secure some survey/assessment tools appropriate for those who were diagnosed with breast cancer. Another option was to create a survey tool appropriate, and the other one was perhaps modify available tools to custom-fit our problem. But the main problem was that most of my group mates rejected the idea of making a tool and/or modifying an existing tool. Any advice to what thing is best to be done?? Thank you very much.
