I feel your pain!! I am entering into a Dental Hygiene program this fall, and because we have men in our class this year, the program decided that khaki was the best option for gender neutral scrubs!! I about DIED!! The class before us in the same building is Ceil Blue...now correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't a nice navy blue or something been a MUCH better gender neutral color that would also compliment the other class!! I agree with everyone who has talked about the safari feel..I would even go as far as to say we will look like army troops!! And I know, I know, it might seem strange that I'm a Dental Hygiene student on an all nurse network, but this site roxx!! Us DHG girls and nurses share a lot of similarities believe it or not!! =] =]

I think I'm just a sucker for fit, look, and feel. I want scrubs that are either on the softer side, light, and flatter. In my town I can't really try things on so when I look on the internet I'm clueless. I'm not trying to sound like a super materialistic person, but I do want to be comfortable, and for me comfort isn't wearing a boxy scrub top, that's all. I looked at some threads about medelita scrubs on here and I've read nothing but positive things so far, and I reallly like the look of the scrubs. I was hoping I could get away with the color they offer, but I think Natania made a very valid point in her response. I found many other responses helpful as well. What is everyone's opinion on Uniform Advantage' line of scrubs, UAScrubs, Landau, and Baby Phat scrubs?

I am glad you mentioned something about that! Medelitas 'pool' color is actually pretty light and does resemble ceil blue..It's not like the others http://www.medelita.com is the website

Hi everybody!! I need some help. I am going into a nursing program this fall and for clinics and labs we are required to wear ceil blue scrubs. Well, I want to purchase some scrubs that will last me a long time and the scrubs at Medelita.com seem to be great quality! Does anyone know how close Medelitas scrubs match the ceil blue color of other scrubs on the market?? Ceil blue seems to vary slightly from company to company. Medelitas blue is called 'pool'. If anyone owns them or has seen or just has an opinion in general about them I would really appreciate the help! I don't want to stick out like a sore thumb in class or get in trouble for not wearing the required color! Also, I had e-mailed medelita' company and they say that their color, 'pool', is almost exactly the same as ceil blue. I'm still hesitant however...
