Central Coast/ San Diego-Hopsital
Hello all, As I have mentioned in previous psoting i am a New Yorker hoping to move this May to California. I am still looking to hear about Central Coast CA, and San Diego. I totally understand as a new grad i need to pay my dues on a med surg floor however i am looking to move on to the ER/OR. I am looking to join a hospital with the following critiera: 1) Great training program for new grads 2) Large hospital that offers a wide array of services. In addition i would greatly apprecaite anyone who would like to provide weblinks to other things i need to be thinking of that the state of CA requires, as i mentioned up above i am from NY and i am not sure of all that is required i noticed some people mentioning "PALS" which I have never heard of before. Any RN's in Orange County California
Hello, I am a nursing student who will graduate in may of 09. I am very interested in seeing what california has to offer. Since i have never been to california i am open to hearing what you have to say about the Orange county and what their hositpals may have to offer a new grad. My interst are ER trauma/ OR. It would be great if you could please provide me with names of hospitals and the towns that way i can look them up. I am from the subers of NY and i am really looking for guidance on areas to look into. Thank you in advance for any information you can give me. :)

Thinking of moving from NY to California
Do you think you can name some hospitals in the LA area that you have heard have good training programs for new grads such as: , ER nursing, PACU. I think that is the area i have interest in. Thanks

I really dont know because i have never been. im looking to be in a safe area.. i would appreciate anything you have to tell me so i can get a sense of what it is like actually.perhaps more towards LA? ( but im really unsure)

Hello everyone, So this is my question('s), This is my last year as a nursing student in an associate program in NY. I have been thinking of california as a place to work. I have never been to california, but i am interested. 1) Can anyone tell me what are the top hospitals in California to work for? 2) What is the salary range for new grads? 3)Any perks you would like to share? and lastly what are some areas that you would recommend living.. :typing

So,,, i have completed my 1st year of nursing and i really have no idea on where to go, i know everyone says you need to work on a med surge floor before you can go anywhere but after that whole thing is done and over with i dont want to stay there can anyone share why they choose the floor they choose plse include the good and bad. Nursing to med school.....anyone???
Hello, I am new to allnurses so i ask that you all bare with me as i figure this out, but i was wondering is anyone interested in going to med school or knows someone who has went to med school after completing their nursing degree, if so please share your story like where did you go and why, how was your experience any regrets??
