  1. here in california they usually post the results for RN if you have a SSN# anywhere from 3-10 days sometimes longer, i was just lucky to have it posted in 3 days. its not the quick results like other states, here in california you go to the Board of nursing site and click on license verification and from there you can check. Hope that helps. Sucks they dont have a quicker system for you

  7. all i can say is "what the heavens!!!!!!!" took my exam today i prayed and prayed to stop at 75 when i got to 74....and then i prayed and prayed again to stop somewhere in the 100's...but i went all 265:down:. i'm drained, scared, sad and just plain ughhh. i got tons of SATA and priority about 5 or 6 math and one put in order thing but the damn test would not stop. soooo...265...is it possible to pass? i need some real up lifting as well as the truth..do those go together in this situation?!?
  8. aghhhhhhhh its tomorrow!!! aghhhhhh:no::no::no: i'm trying to breathe and not really look at anything, i'm going to go see a movie and make a trip to the center to make sure i know where i am going tomorrow. i did some last min infection control precautions from the "infection control" thread thats on here. i just want it to be over, but then i want one more month to study all the little things i didnt get a chance to do and do more sata even though i hate those. i just want this ughhhhh feeling to go away already and be normal..well as normal as can be haha. please keep me in your prayers tonight and tomorrow and that i find the wisdom to answer these questions correctly. god bless
  9. Ena1978, we are taking the test on the same day! i am feeling the same thing. Yesterday i was soo anxiety filled that after i took a practice test and received a low score, i lashed out:argue:at my boyfriend and then just started to cry:cry: cuz i couldn't think anymore. He closed my laptop:Crash: , told me to put on my flip flops and we just went walking outside with fresh air. it helped but i still feel all UGHHHH inside. getting lower scores is freaking me out. i still need to review meds so i know i cant be done studying. i just want this to be over with ya know?? Best of Luck to both of us haha:yeah:
  10. GO TO BED! and i mean that in the nicest friendliest voice! haha goodluck and let us know how it went! white walls = psych wardish no? haha jk:chuckle
  11. Julee2ya, here is the link to the brn website http://www2.dca.ca.gov/pls/wllpub/wllqryna$lcev2.startup?p_qte_code=RN&p_qte_pgm_code=7800 and then into the verification of licensure...just type in first and last name and hopefully it will have what you are looking for...as of today it was last update the 20th, but i would keep checking back if you dont see your name as it can take more then the usual 3-4 days. :) GOODLUCK!
  12. so i went on tonight to the pearson site and i found a 2:00pm app at the center i prefer just a day later...so not bad at all...i'm now officialy set for the 27 of aug at 2:00pm...aghhh haha its official
  13. my school used ERI as well, i did the review they offer at the end of nursing school...complete waste of time... the lady told these magical stories i swear she pulled out of her a$$ for the whole week...and our school made us pass with a 66 or something on the final RN assessment test in order for them to complete our transcripts to send to BRN otherwise they would hold them until you did remediation or something....it was complete crap... we (the 4th semester students) fought it and we won! eri was testing on things never heard of and ridiculousy dumb with no rationales....Also i heard they went out of business or something...thats what our magical story teller reviwer lady told us so i dont know haha
  14. First semester nursing school..i had a patient with dumping syndrome, i had to collect her poop from the the hat in the bathroom and poor it into a sealed container for lab testing...needless to say i was holding the cup in one hand, the hat in another and pucking in the toilet at the same time! i was enclosed in a small bathroom doing all of this, my soon to be best friend came in to help and ending up leaving cuz i was heaving so hard...i walked out of the bathroom and accomplished my mission of getting the poop in the container and standing outside the bathroom door is my instructor..as soon as she saw me she started laughing and crying...apprently i had mascara running down my face and look ridiculous. needless to say i invested in waterproof mascara after that day. i have since built up my tolerance a bit to not puke so quickly but occasionaly things will still turn my stomach....i, like someone else on here always put a great smelling vapor under my nose before i go in to something i know i might not be able to handle
  15. if i come across any more like this one or another tricky-ish one i will def. post it :) 5 days and counting for me to take the nclex rn aghhh! haha
  16. this is actually when i do my best studying. i work the best under pressure. believe me i know this isn't just a normal test, ive been preparing for a while now but i'm just trying to brush up on topics i might have missed thus far as well as meds... so as to not get anyone in trouble i shall restate my question....not asking for exact questions but what are some topics you guys feel are often looked over but might be on the test? all answers are appreciated
  17. THANKS studentinprogress, thats how i eventually came down to it and it worked as well. it was a question i got in my nclex 3500 review.
  18. sorry i didnt even realize i didnt post the right answer....the answer is dun dun dun....7.71 mcg/kg/min. double checked with the book and its is correct. believe me i came up with some interesting answers before i reached this one.
  19. ahhh i got it! after much yelling at my paper and pencil i finally figured out what i was doing wrong. but please feel free to post the way you would figure this out..might be a lot simpler then mine!
  20. yeah def. thanks suzanne. i'm trying to go over as many topics as possible especially the big ones but it never hurts to try to see if there is something i missed that maybe someone remembers from their nclex that i can brush up on...just like lyme disease..living in southern california you forget about stuff like that and i dont ever remember going through it in nursing school.... but thank you again for the luck!
  21. Lori i think i am channeling you haha! i take my test on the 26th and feel the exact same way! everytime i finish a qbank test with kaplan i want to kill myself...we are not trained to think that 60-70%% is a good score ya know?? i think at this point its just fatigue setting in..take a big break go get ice cream and enjoy the rest of ur night!
  22. i dont know whats wrong with me but for some reason i just cant seem to figure out how to do this kind of math problem...even with the answer i cant get how to derive at the answer... i'm not dumb..i'm swear (maybe just in the last couple of days or so) any help on how you arrive at the answer is greatly appreciated.. "a septic client with hypotension is being treated with dopamine hydrochloride (inotropin). the nurse asks a colleague to double-check the dosage that the client is receiving. there are 400 mg of dopamine hydrochloride in 250 ml, the infusion pump is running at 23 ml/hour, and the client weighs 79.5 kg. how many micrograms per kilogram per minute is the client receiving? "
  23. thanks j0877 - going to brush up on the lyme disease right now :)
  24. thanks delina for the response but yeah ive been on the site multiple times with the 3 or 4 closet centers to me picked and unfortunatlly most days to reschedule for are for 8:00am. i checked today again and the center by me seems to put the later times like a day or 2 days before that certain date, so i will keep checking to see if they post anything later for the 26th of this month! thanks for the help again!
  25. i have a question that hopefully someone can answer for me. i am scheduled to take my rn exam on the 26th at 8:00am. ive been going on the pearson site now for about a month off and on to try to see if they will open up any later times for that day. i dont want to push back my day as i'm determined to pass that day but i know i personally test better in the afternoon after i've had some time to calm the nerves and not worry about being late and so on and so on... do any of you know if its just a lost cause to try to change my time or if i should call the center and see what can be done? i dont want to lose my date so if its 8:00am then its 8:00am for me! any help would be greatly appreciated!
