  1. Hello, After a few agonizing weeks, I found out today the I PASSED!!!:chuckle I took my exam on May 12th, 75 questions and thought I failed when I finished. Then the BRN lost or did not get my transcripts... for sure I thought I failed. I so mad. Anyway, after some calling around and this website, I managed to get through it. Now I can legally save lives. Thanks to all of you for your support and prayers:bow:
  2. No, I just feel like I did but the circumstances just validated my feelings of doubt. Three of my classmates know, all having passed at 75, tell me that I did fine. So, I'm just painfully waiting for my future.
  3. Thanks, sorry it had to happen to her but now I feel better.
  4. I hope so... 4 years of school needs to pay off.
  5. .Thanks, You have been helpful, I guess I just need to take your first advise and "Breathe".
  6. Good Afternoon, I'm sorry for not posting the last couple days. I took an advise of a friend to take my mind off the NCLEX RN and promised not read or write about the it, but this is killing me. So, :typing I took my 1st test 5/12 and stopped at 75 and feel unsure if I passed or failed. I've been waiting now for 10 business days and not seen my name on the California BRN website. As a result I now believe that I failed and would like to start STUDYNG! again. So on Friday 5/23 I called the BRN and was able to speak with my "evaluator". I have my doubts as to her excuse, however, she told me that she was not able to tell me my results over the phone and the reason for the delay was that she did not have my transcripts from school. Without it she cannot process my test results. So I called the dean of nursing at my school. To make this short, and with a lot of phone calls, it turned out that all of my stuff was sent to the boards (the 1st time) and that the admissions office will resend my transcripts. Im' so mad. The board had no intention of contacting me of this error. I don't believe them. This is probably their way of saying "you failed", "wait for the letter", "I don't want tell you the bad news over the phone". Has anyone experienced what I'm going through?
  7. Just to clarify, you have your "Pass" letter but not your License posted on the BRN Web? My 2nd question is are you in California?
  8. Thanks for the reply and Congrats on passing PatrickMorales, :bowingpur:nurse: Your story gave me a light at this tunnel. The BRN told me that they don't have my transcripts and that that is the reason for the delay. I wonder if thats true or they are just running behind or something. Just to clarify, you passed but no license number on the BRN website?
  9. Congrats FA2Z, I wish California participated in that program. I'm going through hell right now.
  10. Hi Again, To those who have passed; Congratulation, I wish you all a great career in your chosen fields. All of you are now healers and lifesavers. Im proud to some day be your colleague. Wish me luck.
  11. Good Morning, I'm sorry for not posting the last couple days. I took an advise of a friend to take my mind off the NCLEX RN and promised not read or write about the it. Just to refresh, I took my 1st test 5/12 and stopped at 75 and feel unsure if I passed or failed. I've been waiting now for 10 business days and not seen my name on the California BRN website. 12. What is the my chances of passing with 75 questions?
  13. Thanks Suzanne4 I really appreciate it. I have to admit, I am not the best test taker. I took the Kaplan course read the book cover to cover and did the question trainer 1-7. Kaplan said that if you come out of the test feeling ill and that it was tough the chances are good. On the flip side if you thought you ACED it than your toast. I felt cheated coming out when it stopped at 75. If felt like the majority of the questions were designed to mess with my brain. If i didn't pass... I know what to do and what to study for the next time.
  14. Hey asiagarden Im with you. Im not someone who can stand still. I wish the BRN can just tell so we can move on.
  15. I just check the (California) BRN and it is updated up to yesterday the 22nd. I still have not found my name. Now, I really think its because I failed. This is the worst feeling. I don't know what to do. As I said before all of my classmates that took the test (stopped at 75) got there passing results in 3-4 days. I wish they would just call, post online or send a packet to retake the test so I can move forward.:crash_com:thnkg:
  16. First, I would like to wish you all good luck on your test and my prayers are with you on passing.:bowingpur Having said that, I unfortunately, am going nuts. I took my test on May 12th (California) and it is now the 9th business day without my name posted. My test stopped at 75. My Kaplan course said that if you come out of there feeling you were hit by a Mack truck you probably did fine... Well I felt a lot of self doubt and guessed on a lot of questions. It seemed like the test knew what I was weak on and pick the questions that I did not spend a lot of time on. It covered mostly MS and no Peds or OB, 3 math, 5-8 SATA, and lots of priority, infection, and delegation. I'm just wondering if I did pass, why hasn't the BON posted my license. Now Im thinking I failed getting my self ready to start studying again. Does anyone have any answers or suggestions?
  17. Thanks, I hope to hear from the BON soon, and Good Luck to you too.
  18. Im in California which does not participate in the pearson vue quick result program.
  19. I took the the NCLEX RN in 75 questions on May 12 2008 and still waiting for my results to either show up on BRN website indicating I passed or by mail and fail. It has been 8 business days since and no results. My classmates that all had their CPU stop at 75 passed and had their RN license posted within 3-4 business days. In fact, all of my classmates with differing numbers of questions all had their RN within 3-4 days. Im passed flipped out and contemplating on starting to study again preparing for failure. Please someone help me:banghead:
