  1. Thanks everyone for the congrats! This is what I did to prepare myself for the next 45 days until I was able to retake the exam. Hopefully this will be of use to others: 1. Suzanne's 1st Tip Do every single quiz at the end of each chapter of the Saunder's Comprehensive Review NCLEX-RN Examination - 4th Edition. If I got less than a 70%, I reviewed that specific chapter. This book is great to review content. 2. Read Kaplan NCLEX-RN Exam 2007-2008 (with cd-rom): Strategies for the Registered Nursing Licensing Exam Read the entire book and do the 180 questions at the back and the additional 180 on the cd-rom. Their strategies helped with each question that I had during my exam. 3. Purchase Kaplan Qbank Questions for $300 It gives you access to around 1200 questions online that are very similar to nclex style ones regarding topics and difficulty of questions. This was really helpful since I thought the Saunders questions were too easy compared to the actual NCLEX. 4. Have faith in yourself & PRAY!!!
  2. Thanks! I had my hubby call the 1-900 number this morning. I was too chicken to do it myself! Haha! Anyway, I'm from Nevada :luvnltr: :[anb]:
  3. after sleepless nights and many, many, many prayers..... i passed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :w00t: :dncgcpd: god is good!!! :dncgcpd: kristine, rn
  4. Thanks for all the support and prayers. I can't sleep and can't stop thinking about all those pharm questions that I had over and over and over again! Towards the end, I felt the entire NCLEX was pharm! This is what I felt like everytime I kept getting a pharm question::yldhdbng: All I could do now is continue to pray....
  5. A prayer for McKenzie and her parents. May she rest in peace with the Lord.
  6. Hi Everyone, This is my second time taking the Nclex-RN and I had 180 questions today. The first time I felt confident that I had 75 but failed. This time I was far more prepared, but when I started getting over 20 medication questions, I felt like I had failed yet again. I had over 20 SATA, 2 med calculations, TONS of meds, infection control, handful of priority and delegation, and the last question was about adverse effects of a medication. Has anyone had the same scenerio and passed with 180? I feel so discouraged right now. I have been at the library 5 days out of the week since the day I failed the first exam. I even did Kaplan Qbank and averaged 63%. I dont feel confident at all . Please send any replies and your PRAYERS!!!!!!!
