Retested 2 nd time and computer again shut off at 75!!!!!! Please Pray for me.
Hi Friends, Just wanted to give a quick update in regards to my NCLEX Exam. Yes I passed!!!!:yeah:. I first wanna thank God cause I did a lot of praying before, during and after my exam. And I truly believe in the higher power looking out for me. It is still a shock that I passed with 75 quest having failed with 75 before. Anyways I just want to thank you guys for all your prayers for me. For those of you who are waiting to take this exam or are retesting having failed before......Please DO NOT be discouraged. I have been in your shoes and I know how you feel. If I can do it, so can you. To tell you a little abour my exam, I had a total of 75 quest. 20 meds (my weakest area), 10 SATA, 3 infection control and the rest were Med surg and priority. As stated by several people, I also truly felt as if I failed after sitting for the NCLEX. I became obessed and paranoid after i got home and started looking for the right answers to some of the questions I had and figured that I had failed. In addition I kept on logging on to allnurses forum to see what was considered difficult questions and how many retested and failed again with 75. And believe me I know I had more than a few wrong even on the easy ones. I trult believe hard work does pay off. This time I prepared only using Kaplan complete along with the classs. I studied the book twice, did all their questions and saw their online videos (highly recommend) twice. After that I felt comfortable with the info except for the meds. And guess what, I ended up with 20 meds on my NCLEX, 3/4 of which I did not know. So please keep your head up and trust your instincts. You can do this. As silly as this may sound I also started writing my name along with RN, BSN after it before I retested for the NCLEX the 2nd time. This motivated and boosted my self esteem to not give up. My father always says....Dont ride a bull by its tail, hold on to the horn. So with that said......Please dont loose hope. You are almost there. Once again I wish you all the very best Sincerely, Anna, RN, BSN

Retested 2 nd time and computer again shut off at 75!!!!!! Please Pray for me.
Hi friends, To tell you a little about me. I tested the first time for the NCLEX in Mar of 2008. I have to say,I took the Kaplan but did not study as much and ended up failing with 75 questions. I was so bumed and decided that I have come this far and will retest again but this time I prepared for 3 months. Took the Kaplan again...for free, did all of their questions (q bank, q trainer and even their secure exam...only one released by NCLEX way back in 1990's). I scored around 56% overall in q bank and my q trainer in 6- 64% and trainer 7- 67%. This time I felt more confident and was ready to retest again. I retested on June 5th...just yesterday. I went in thinking positive, prayed a lot and just left it up to god. My exam consisted of several questions. 15 meds (most of them were familiar...but meds were my weakness), 10 SATA, and tons of priority, no OB, No delegation, few med surg and may be 1-2 infection control. I was once again upset because my computer again shut off at 75 and I wanted more questions. I am very worried b/c my SATA's and meds were not unfamiliar topics but I know I might have gotten the meds incorrect. Does this mean I failed since they were common meds? SOmeone please give me an answer. I will get my results on Sat. Please keep me in ur prayers. Thank You.

Retesting in 3 days!!!!!Very Nervous. Please Help!
Hi All, I am very much new to this site and have checked it out and find it very helpful. To tell you little about me, I graduated in Dec from a accelerated nursing prog. I took the NCLEX for the first time in March and was bumed to find out that I failed with 75 question. I had a lot going at that time as far as stress. I also had taken Kaplan prior to that but had not done my part in studying to my full potential. I got through all the Q trainer and had done only 30% of Q bank. After a period of depression from seeing that I failed, I decided to take Kaplan again...for free, and studied the whole book and did all of q bank and q trainer along with the videos. I am retesting in 3 days and feel very nervous. My scores in the q bank is around 56% overall, I am very nervous and am afraid that I will fail again. My main issues is that I keep forgetting info and dont know what to do. Any advice is appreciated. Also any tips for NCLEX is helpful!!!!!! Please Pray that I pass. The BIG day is Thurs, June 5th. Sincerely, Thoughtful lady

And is this 'False Impriosonment?' I had a similar q like this and was not sure.

i PASSED !!!!!!!! third time IS the charm !
Hey there Jon Congrats!!!! I am very much new to this site but I have read several threads in thepast and finally decided to register. I desperately need advice and this is for everyone. I graduated in Dec 2007 from nursing school. And decided to take Kaplan in Jan and took the NCLEX in Mar. Unfortunately I failed the exam with 75 questions. I was completely stressed out. I know I studied but not to my full capacity. In addition I also went away on vacation before the exam and had two weeks to prepare. Currently I am planning to retest on May 28th and am very nervous. I repeated the Kaplan, did q bank and q trainer completely and have done close to 1700 questions. My major problem is anxiety and difficulty with critical thinking. Please any advice would be helpful. I am desperately in need of passing. Help!!!! I have been studying and a, praying I pass Thanks, thoughtfullady
