AHHH, whew had me worried there.... Yeah the ADN should be all of the sciences.....I have all of the sciences already but it has been awhile.

Are you going into the ADN or the LVN program?

One of the 2 head ladies ( I don't think you are supposed to name names on this ) told me that for the LVN test, we will only be tested on the reading - grammar and math . For the RN test I think then you get tested on the sciences. Who told you to study everything but the physics?? I have called and e-mailed getting the same response on what to study, but it was the same lady answering my question both times. I want to make sure that is correct! I would hate to get there and be surprised...

I am starting the LVN at Yuba in August. I take the HESI June 1st though. They are doing it at different times? I guess it is just on the math and grammar portion of the study guide, no sciences, so that's cool...

Congrats to all of you that got in this year! I was turned down this time, so bummer for me. Has anyone heard about the Sierra LVN program? Has anyone been accepted/denied? I applied this time around, and am hoping that I will maybe get into it because I have been working as a CNA for the last year and a half in order to have the experience that is required to apply. I think that if I get in I will get my LVN and go the Upward Mobility route. Anyway, i'm waiting patiently... camping out on my computer and mail box.....

Hey, Congrats! Was it the RN?

I am #50 on the wait list, so if enough people have gotten into other programs and decided to do something else, MAYBE then I will get in this time. I have all of my pre-requisites for the RN also, so i'm waiting on that. Got turned down Saturday for the lottery at Sierra College. The lottery is killing me!!! Well, good luck at San Juaquin's program, hope you get in! I haven't ever heard anything about it. May as well get those pre-requisites out of the way for the RN while you are waiting. I have run out of classes to take, so i'm going to get my EMT this Fall if I haven't gotten in....

Was your denial for the RN? or the LVN?

Well, I received my Sierra letter this Saturday 5-10-08 for the RN and was not accepted. There were something like almost 500 applicants. This lottery is frustrating.... I am still waiting to hear about the LVN at Sierra, so i'm hoping i'll get into that one. I guess I will be camping next to my mail box this week, as I am assuming that the LVN letter will follow shortly. Let us know what you hear!

Hi there. I am on the wait list for Yuba College LVN. I was wondering if anyone has hear this month about being accepted for the FALL semester? My friend who is in the program heard in May last year. It is about my time for my number to come up, so i'm keeping my fingers crossed. I just got turned down for Sierra's RN, so i'm getting a little nervouse. I am waiting to hear if I get into the LVN at Sierra, hopefully this week. AH! It is so nerve racking!

Well, I found out yesterday that I didn't get into the RN at Sierra. There were something like almost 500 applicants in the lottery this time, and my name didn't get picked. Anyway, I am still waiting to hear if I get into the LVN at Sierra. I expect to hear this week most likely. Has anyone recieved an acceptance letter from the LVN wait list at Yuba College? I am waiting to hear if I get in this time around. My friend who is in the program heard around this time when she got in, so i'm keeping my fingers crossed. I am having an anxiety attack everytime the mailman gets here.
