Hi everyone! I also got my acceptance letter for August class & was wondering if anyone here has an idea on how our schedule will be like. I'm currently an LVN & from what I was told we will right away go for our clinical after few weeks...any input will be greatly appreciated.

thank you all for the advice and i know as a brand new nurse i am expected to be slow but i just feel that i am the slowest of them all:( anyway, i will try to find a way to organize things and get to know my pt's though i get to work on diff. wings every now and then but i am just looking forward to be able to get better with my craft...i just felt so bad that i wasnt able to pass meds to some of my pt's yesterday and i hope that on my next duty i can get to adapt a new strategy in order to be a good nurse! there are times that i felt i am just about to give up but by the time i get home and get rested i still have that urge in me to be better the next day:)

Hi! I am a brand new LVN w/ no medical experience at all and just started working in LTC for the last 2 days w/ 30 pts. and I am so overwhelmed w/ how i handle my job since i could not give the meds on time to the point of not being able to give it at all for some pt's since a lot of things happened during my shift (md's calling, family asking too much questions, etc...) and not to mention i also do treatments for my pt's... is this a normal thing for a new grad or is it just me being the worst on the floor??? do you guys have any tips or technique that can speed up my work?i wish i can give the meds on time but i know that is something impossible since i only not do med pass but also do treatment and every now and then somebody pulls me to check on a pt... pls. help!!!

it wont let me enter my cc information after i entered the school information.... Im not so sure about NCLEX RN since i took the PN but AGAIN... this is not a good and realible way to find out the results since all of us still have to wait for the official result from the mail... it just somehow help me relieved my anxiety while waiting for 1 month....

I took the NCLEX-PN but i also tried to register for RN and it allowed me to enter the cc information... what i noticed with pearson vue web is that if you did not enter the exact information as you did the 1st time you register, then it will allow you to pay for the test coz thats what happened to me when i tried the trick... i mistakenly type in the wrong name (not my complete name) and then it let's me pay for the test but when i tried logging in and then click register from the left hand corner of the page then it blocks me from entering my cc information compared to going to the main page and choose the NCLEX test from those 2 columns...anyway, its not something that all of us should rely on it though im pretty convinced that it probably has some truth to it but at the end of the day we still wait for the official result from the board... good luck to you all!

Again let me imply to you clearly that nobody is forcing you to rely on this "trick" coz i myself did not till i got the letter from the mail and im pretty sure this "trick" wasnt helping you feel any better at all and probably just prolongs your mesiries since it worked differently for you compared to most of us. Anyway, thanks for the congrats and good luck to you... hopefully you'll get blocked from the credit card page so somehow it might make you feel at ease....

why sound so bitter about this issue? No one is forcing you to believe this trick and like everyone else we all waited for the official confirmation from the board so just relax but im sure if you were blocked from the payment page you wont be reacting like this right?

that's the kind of spirit we need in this forum rather than blaming others for their failure/nightmare:yeah:i know it would have been best if you did not have to retake the test again but w/ your determination to reach that dream of being a nurse, im sure you will finally get it next time...just dont give up and always remember that the right time will come for everyone in here to be a nurse and that will be soon. I totally agree w/ you calilvn2008... I guess it is everyone's dream in this forum to be a nurse so if someone out there thinks finding a job as an LVN is a nightmare then why in the first place you invested so much of your time and money just to experience a nightmare???? the waiting period "feels" like a nightmare since im so sure most of us who took the nclex felt like throwing up or cant even sleep or eat but hey! its a process! but being able to finally apply as an LVN and having the 1st day on the floor is a dream come true..after all we busted our butt for this day to come... I just hope we all wish everyone good luck instead of making it sound miserable since we all experience the same process and stop blaming others for whatever outcome of the test.

I agree that the best way to confirm the test result is getting it by mail but if you are telling us that we can always register again...well.... it is not allowing us to do that even before we got our result and it is not really that important to us coz we have our results in hand. Anyway, this whole process has been really difficult but trust me you will feel a big sigh of relief once you find out that you are already a certified nurse rather than being a new graduate and having her first day on the floor ( it is a process EVERYONE has to experience). Now we can all have our life back instead of waiting for the mail to come everyone now and then... Good luck to all of us and for those who are still waiting for the golden ticket to success! If you beleive in yourself and what you think you are capable of in life then there are no such thing as "horror" stories... that only applies to people who dont even trust themselves:cry:...

CONGRATULATIONS! the long wait is over for you... I might get my results either Sat. or early next week...I'm so scared...I'll keep you guys posted!

thank god they have finally started to mail out the Feb. results since I have been calling them last week and from Monday-Friday all they tell me was it was only the 01/31 results they've mailed out... I am soooo nervous but I am just preparing myself for the worst... I hope I can handle whatever results I get... Keep us posted for the results!!!

i guess i figure out what went wrong since if i go to the main page and register again i did not type in the xact information i originally input so now i tried it again and it says that i already have an existing user name and by logging in it diverted me to the other page wherein it wont allow me to register again...anyway! i hope and pray that i will be able to handle whatever the outcome of this test....I graduated in San Francisco City College...Thanks again and keep us posted w/ any update:)

thats what i did too and it wont allow me to register again BUT if i go to the main page and register like a first timer it will let me reach the credit card page... I really dont know whats going on!!! anyway, i guess we will just have to wait and see...good luck to all of us.

I wish we have a way to find out soon:( anyway I want ask how you did it for the nclex-pn? did you log-in using your user name or did you went to pearson vuew home page and click on those 2 columns for the type of test you are taking? I am so scared and disapointed...let me know...thank you.

Hi! I just took NCLEX-PN last Friday 02/06 and it stop at 85 question and I just want to find out if anyone out there who tried the "pearson vue web trick" wherein you can find out if you pass or fail ASAP instead of waiting for 3-4 weeks for the mail to come...i tried it myself and i guess i failed since it allowed me to enter my credit card#...anybody got the same situation but actually pass when they got the results by mail> pls. let me know... i feel like throwing up and I couldnt even take care of my baby right now since i am convinced that i really failed!!!

Unfortunately my YM is no longer active but anyway I am starting to get ****** off w/ the BVNPT people since i cal them almost everyday for the last week and all they tell me is to wait and they wont even suggest that they will re-send it again to make sure ill get it. I dont know what to do since i dont want to ****** them off but I just cant sit here and wait w/out knowing where the mail is at this time... Its very stressful for me:(

I just want to find out if anybody in here took the nclex-pn last march 29 in california? It has been 1 month and 2 weeks but still have not recieved the result. I called bvnpt in sacramento and they confirmed to me the result came out april 26 and it was mailed out april 28 but it has been almost 2 weeks not and i have not gotten any mail and i have been calling them almost daily since but they are giving me diff. response. They just keep telling me i will get it anytime soon...where does the mail came from? In california or chicago? Its been a mental torture for me!!!!
