  1. He has passed his IELTS and awaiting his visascreen certificate. He had a few months of ICU experience, the rest is teaching in university and clinical instruction. THANKS.
  2. Appreciate your responses. My sister-in-law's best friend works in a Jacksonville, Florida Hospital and claims she can help and will ask Human Resources for help and that my brother can get here in few months. Guess, Maybe she's unaware of "retrogression". Don't even know what that is all about. Guess he can try New Zealand. Thanks again.
  3. Does anyone know of hospitals in New Jersey or New York City who are recruiting directly from the Philippines? He desperately needs a job in the USA preferably in Northern NJ, so I can help out. He has a family of 3 kids and one is going to college this June to take Nursing. Appreciate any response. Thanks.
  4. If you are going into nursing without experiencing any personal loss, it is not bad at all. It is easy to get over it. Certain things get to you such as pediatric trauma or young people dying from any cause. When my mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and she had to go through hypoglycemia at home, GI bleeding and intestinal obstruction, I became a different nurse.. more emotionally labile esp after code patients who never make it and delivering the bad news to the family.
