Hey guys! I was wondering if anyone could tell me is there a difference between medsurg w/ tele and cardiac step down units. If so, I would really appreciate it if someone would share those differences. Thanks so much for your help. I initially applied for an ICU position but was offered an interview for cardiac step down instead. I just want to beef up before my interview.

Thanks guys for responding. I would like to know the difference between vent and bubble cpap. Also, how does "back up rate" fit into everything. I wanted to ask my preceptor, but we were extremely busy. Thanks.

Has anyone done the online RN to BSN through the Chamberlain College of Nursing? The program sounds really great, but I just wanted to get the opinion of someone who's tried it thanks!

I've worked with nurses who've had visible tats, and no one ever complained. In fact one nurse with a large tat on her wrist got a lot of complements from pt's. I have seen a few suck their teeth at piercings. Like everyone else here, I'd probably cover for any interviews and during clinicals if you had to. With this nursing shortage going on, it'd really be a shame if anyone made a big issue out of it. Good luck!
