  1. No, have not heard anything. Will let the community know as soon as word is sent.
  2. I have not heard anything as of 8-12-08. I did not receive an email message about my school location either.
  3. It depends on your situation. Most schools have waiting list. Since you already have a bachelors degree an accelerated BSN is a good option but could be expensive. Community colleges are less expensive. The LPN option is not bad but since you already have a bachelors degree I would go for either the ADN or BSN. Apply to as many programs as you can. I wish you well. Also, I think Lewis may have the ROTC program. If you qualify the military will pay for education and you probably will get into the nursing program easier because of it. If you don't meet the requirements for ROTC you can also look into local hospitals in your area and talk to someone from human resources. See if they would be willing to fund your nursing career in agreement with you working for them.
  4. Hi, I applied and not have received any news as of August 3, 2008.
  5. Hi I applied also, have not heard anything yet good or bad.
  6. Thanks for all the good information!
  7. Thank You Everyone
  8. Hi, I was wondering does the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) offer scholarships to nursing students? I am willing to work for them in return for the scholarship.
  9. Hello everyone, I begin a nursing program this Fall. One of the clinical sites that my school uses I am uncomfortable with. A close relative of mine was at this healthcare facility before she passed and my family does not believe she received adequate care. Is there any way that I can avoid this clinial site. I know that most schools don't make exceptions as far as which clinical site they assign you to because students are always trying to get a certain site. What should I do?
