  1. well i know its going to be great... i wanted to do an ICU but i decided to go with this medical ICU internship.... sooo thats what i am looking forward too and everyone looks soo happy and nice on the unit... im pretty sure it will be great.. minus the pay cut. kendal are you from north carolina... and nurse lovey what unit do you work on!!
  2. hi!!! im moving from va to raleigh, NC to work at DUKE on their med surg unit:nurse:!!! i cant wait and start aug 4... little worried if the pay rate is equivalent to the cost of living but i hear everyone loves raleigh... sooooo im happy!!!

  4. yea!!! now after accepting the position i have noticed the pay difference.. i wanted a trauma center similar to where i went to school but i did not know about wake med... i might get a part time job b/c i like learning... maybe i will go there... thx:up:
  5. hi, im moving to nc to work at duke as a new grad... wanted to know if anyone knew any great areas to move as a young adult? people are telling me the brier creek area but it seems a little expensive being that duke starting pay is a little low? are there any other new grads starting at duke this summer???
