there are hundreds of students at Kaylim and most are passing the exams. (if they apply themsleves to studying.) As far as the CPNE workshop, I have not taken it yet. I am only seeing what is on here as far as comments. When I go to classes there, I see alot more people taking the workshop than what are commenting on here. I will ask at my next class how many people have asked for their money back and let you know. If it is a bad workshop, then people need to be told so. Being in the same building, next to the classroom where it is held, I have not heard negative things until I logged on here today. I will find out some things and let everyone know. But, I will defend the instructor...She is a very educated and is an excellent instructor....

All the instructors that I have had there have there own notes and material. My micro teacher was beyond intelligent. She was scary smart. They all use various books and notes. She has been a nurse for 18 years and is one of the 3 nursing instructors there. They all have done some teaching. I do not believe they have EC material. It is a large college class condensed. I do not have the time fopr a traditional college and EC was the best for me. I have to work to support a family and have been in public safety for 20 years. I don't have total time or discipline to self study and Kaylim helps to push me to study. Thanks GOD I have passed all my exams. Everyone has their own opinion. I kow from sitting in her classes every wednesday that she is intelligent and she has helped me bridge the gap from flight medic/ firefighter-paramedic to the "nursing side" There is a big difference. All help is a blessing, but from someone who knows her and Kaylim, they have helped me...

I am not going to get into any arguements on a computer. I respect everyone's opinion. I just know that I am not being taught to pass an exam. There is soooo much more that I have been taught that has not been on any EC exam. I will take the CPNE workshop in Atlanta. I do know that they have a 100% money back guarentee if you are not satisfied. Good luck to everyone.

Just to let you know, I go to Kaylim and they do not "teach you how to pass an EC exam." Lunah is incorrect. My microbiology teacher is a research micro-biologist form the CDC. They actually teach you entire college courses in a condensed version. There has never been a class that I have taken there that has had ANY EC test material. And as far as her experience as a nurse and in instructor goes, she is great. I have taken 3 of her nursing courses and she is very intelligent. She also sat on NCLEX board and has been a test site trainer for years. The workshop is excellent and she has a lot of people coming to them. So far she has a 99% pass rate with her students. I would recommend her anytime!!!!!! If you have any question, E-mail me.

Taking the new NC7 test on the 16th. Anyone taken it so far? I have had some friend fail it....Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Do the EC free course study guides help or should I pay the $60 and take the EC practice exams?

I would definately talk to the nurse that made the comment. That is extremely RUDE and I wouldn't tolerate it at all. I am gay and that would offend me severely !!!!! That is not something that belongs in the work place. My sexuality and what happens in my private life does not determine what type of nurse I am........

Thanks everyone...I have NC7 thursday...I used the EC practice exam and my book from distance learning...I can see where the LPN's do much better on NC 1 than medics.

I passed my first nursing test.!!!!!!!!!! Wow what a relief. It was my first nursing exam..Alot different than I thought it would be. Alot different than Paramedic and the Critical Care Flightmedic Test. Tahnks to everyone who gave advise.....

did you have alot of the influential people on your exam? A few of the people in my class that took it said there were tons of people on it? Were there alot of organizations? ANA etc.....? Any help would be appreciated....Thanks

I know of a CPNE workshop where I go to school in Atlanta. The instructor is my nursing instructor and she is very good. She did alot of training of the nurses that check you off.
