I attended an information meeting at National Medical Academy. After reading a lot of negative comments about National Medical Academy and learning that you might not be able to sit for boards, I would like to know if anyone has graduated from their program? Is anyone starting classes in July there? I know in the other thread about NMA BIG_RERE said she and her friends did the program and graduated and were able to sit for boards, but is there anyone else who has a good thing to say about them?:uhoh21: This program just sounds too good to be true and I truely hope it isn't. :wink2:

reading your post makes me some what hopeful. i have a shoplifting charge from 3 years ago and i pray to God it doesnt hold me back from pursuing my dream in nursing.

i only have the one misdemeanor for retail fraud on my record. it shouldnt really hold me back right?

hey could you give me some more information on this school? what are the timings like? what days do you go to school? is there a waiting list?

I have a misdemeanor from back in 2006 for shoplifting at macys (yes i know, what a stupid thing to do). I've paid my fines, served probation and learned my lesson. I was wondering if this will hold me back from becoming a nurse. Do you know of any nurses who have criminal histories?

i go to the downriver campus. i've read previous posts of students going to other wcccd campus's but i havent heard of anyone going to the the downriver one

so are you taking classes this semester? which campus is the best?:)

so i was doing some research about wccc (wayne county community college) and found out that they are not accredited by nlnac. does it really matter if the program isnt accredited? can you still get a job out there?
