Hello to the guy with the quasi-beard, I'm also an OCC current student. I'll be starting my LPN program JAN 13, 2009. Did you complete your package that you picked up OCT 24, 2009? I was wandering should I mailed my package or just travel that long distance to Waterford, and present it to the nursing department. How's you preparing for this JAN? and March happy moment? Did you purchase your books or uniforms yet? Also, how are you paying for you tuition? and do you know what month they will register the LPN students. I been waiting, waiting, so I can purchase my books and supplies before the holiday or Christmas. I'm glad our NUR 1290 meets only on that one day, due to the winter and coldness that's here already. hfccdnd :nurse::nurse:

Hi HFCC student on the waiting list, I received my letter in FEB/2008, went to the orientation session on March 14, 2008. The number of students that attended the 1st pick were just 35 student. They were just the fist 35 student on the 1st pick. I was told they will be mailing more letter soon. But I need to tell you that their was some student who haven't completed their BIO 234 at all. And some decline enrollment last year, but still received a letter again for enrollment this year. Also, I received a letter from "Henry Ford Health System(HFHS) to enroll in the accelerated (16 months) program for this May, due to open spots. But if accepted you have to work 3 years for your tuition for them. I decline on that offer, because you have to have some money up front. Wish I didn't have a penny. My hope is to pay for my summer class that I already register for, and hope again that I get a scholarship this fall/2008. :bowingpur

Hi to future student nurses, I was wondering has anyone already enrolled in the nursing program @ HFCC? I recently passed my NET. Got accepted for the coming Fall/2008. This summer I have to repeat my Anatomy II, because it's 5 years old. And have to take a Pharmocolgy course plus a Basic Life Support this summer. The NET for those student who need some advice: Practice make perfect! Practice on your algebra, comprehensive reading critical skill as much as you can. I receive my test 2 hrs after taking it on the computer. I'm working very hard to pay for my tuition and books. And hopeful, my FAFSA will reward me a grant this fall/2008. I will apply for as many scholorship ASAP! because this school once you regrister, full payment is due that Friday. And this is hard for those whose is struggle with low-income. Alos, I have no health insurance on my job, so I have to find :bowingpur some low-rate insurance from some company and make monthly payment. I just hope that some school reward me a nice scholorship ASAP! HFCCDND:wink2:
