  1. Which facility did you work? Where would you be working? Was your experience that bad? Hmmm... Sorry I bury you with a bunch of questions. Thanks for your comment in advance.
  2. Psychdave, Did you hear anything from HR? I am getting impatient here... My documents have been faxed on 5/7 because the document I sent in April 27 got lost in the mailing system, I guess. I am afraid to contack HR because I was told to "continue to be patient" when I called them last time. I interpretated it as not to bother them anymore??? If it usually takes this long, I wouldn't be worried but with my paper being lost once, I am getting anxious...
  3. I am sorry to hear what you have been through. Unfortunately, some of nurses lack of collegiality. Nursing is a profession, rather than vocation, because we support, assist and counsel other nurses, and nursing students. I still bitterly remember my horrible preceptor and the staff duringn my senior preceptorship completely ingoring my existance, laughing outloud over my performance or questions... Yes, a new addition can sometimes delay the staff members work speed but we need to be a mentor and a supporter to those who just stepped into this great, proud profession. People tend to forget that they once were newbies. I have a little over a year of nursing experience now but I remind myself everytime around new staff or students how not to behave, thanks to my mean preceptor and staff members. Cheer yourself up. You are doing fantastic job. Just learn from them what you wouldn't do once you become seasoned nurse!
  4. I guess it varies depeding on which facility you are applying but mine took about a week. They left a message saying that I was placed on certain slot for an interview (it was a short notice, like three days later from the message was left) and If that assigned time slot doesn't work for me, call them. Best of wishes. :)
  5. I was told it takes about 4-6 weeks. I am also waiting for final apporoval (it has been over 2 weeks) after I submitted the paper work. Let us know.
