  1. I just graduated. I am not even an RN yet. Right now, I am still researching on how we can get our voices heard and how we are going to go about the change in our current system. This is the least thing I could only do for now. I think the change that we are aiming for would be a long and complicated process. What I know is that the ff. agencies involved would be the: Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC) They are the one that sets the minimum wage for the regions in the country. There's only one occupation (Househelpers) that has it's own minimum wage rate others are set by sectors: Hospital workers, Retail/Service workers, Workers in schools, Cottage/Handicraft workers. I believe the Associated Labor Unions (ALU-TUCP) and the Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) would be very instrumental into making the change possible. Now who are the particular persons to approach would be the next step. Or better yet, is there a nursing organization that is working on this cause that we are probably are just unaware of? And I believe if we could just find the right congressman, if he's smart enough, he would listen to our cause. He will have the nurses vote. Just imagine how many nurses are in the country.
  2. Honestly, I don't understand why until now we Filipino nurses have not worked hard enough to demand a decent pay. We should do something. I want to do something.
  3. Thanks noel1218 for that additional info. :nuke:
  4. Thank you risperdal and gemini_star for the info. It's just best to know the people that we are going to dealing with this coming examinations. :)
  5. If anyone already has a copy of coverage for the 2008 examination, kindly post it here. It would be really helpful to me. Thanks.
